Chapter 8: Raccoon attack.

"Well I'm going to help you but you don't have much time. So will you let me be your guardian?" She asked hopeful.

I needed time to process all this newfound information because I fucking wanted my feelings back and I surely didn't want to die. I still don't have a death wish. I got to think this through so... One thing came to my mind immediately making me answer.

"Yes."

Calypso's POV
Walking back to the Exam site I still felt Than's presence nearby.

"Why are you still following me?"

"Because I want to see how you live and every little detail about you!" She said smiling at me.

"Don't you have better things to do like ruin people's lives?" No sense of remorse was felt after I said those words.

"You know some people don't choose what they want in life. They sometimes ask for something but get something completely different. So don't be so rude because... I'm trying to help you and this will cost me more than just my life..." Sadness loomed over her last words.

"Ok... but wait, how are you here? You can't be at the Hunter Exam."

"Yes I can, I'm taking it. Stop asking so many questions it's getting annoying." She pouted.

I see, some people don't dare to acknowledge the bad side of the situation, setting it aside, only to see the brighter side of it.

When we arrived I got curious looks from Killua.

"Hey Princess who's your friend?"

"Oh she's... No one." Walking in front of her with trying to fake a smile.

"Why are you so mean to me Caly, I didn't do anything to you?" Again she pouted.

"Stop. Okay, she's just a girl I found lying on the ground. I think she was attacked by a raccoon so I helped her because she was going to die. After that she followed me here and apparently she's taking the exam too." I said without taking a breath in between sentences. Killua's incredulous expression made me know that he was so done.

"Princess cut the crap! Alright! I won't ask you anymore."

"Thanks." I said leaning on a tree.

"So who are you?" He asked Than. I guess he didn't have enough already.

"I'm Th-..." I cut her in mid word.

"She's fucking Dea-." She walked in front of me and continued. As she stood in front of me I felt my mouth being shut closed by a strange force. My eyes widened.

"I'm Than Lupo, I'm her friend. We just met while she was taking a walk." She said smiling.

"Killua." He said raising his hand. Than grabbed me by the arm and excused us.

"You were about to reveal my identity! If it's revealed I would become a human and then I wouldn't be able to help you. So close that mouth of yours, before I shut it with tape." She said smiling holding a roll of duck tape.

Where did she get that duck tape...?

The doors opened and we had to cook pig. I ran in circles looking for a pig.

"Princess what are you doing?" Killua said laughing.

"Trying to find a pig but I see none!" He caught me by the waist and carried me on his shoulder.

"Release me! Lynx put me on the ground this instant!" I shouted.

"Calm down and... No!" He said with a smirk on his face.

Than was next to us smiling and saying 'aww'.

Traitor. I'll kill her soon. Wait, can you even kill Death? Good question.

Killua released me when we saw the pigs. I got a head start by running in circles around the pig. Suddenly the pig fell down to the ground.

"What did you just do...?" Killua said in disbelief.

"Something less cruel than stabbing the pig." I said as I ran back to the warehouse. Than was running besides me with her own pig.

We positioned ourselves in the little kitchens but I didn't know what to do. On the other hand Than was already cooking her pig. I watched her and I did something similar.

Placing everything on the plate I threw some tomatoes near it.

Short story short, we all failed. I mean I thought my tomatoes were brilliant but the judge begs to differ.

Right now we are on the Chairman's airship. On our way to retake the Phase Two.

Gon and Killua were nowhere to be found.

Where are they when I need them? Where is everyone when you need them.

Now I'm stuck with Than. At least Leorio and Kurapika are here.

I introduced them to Than. She smiled like always and we proceeded to find the rooms.

Entering one of the rooms I took a comfy blanket and sat next to the wall and Kurapika. While Than was in between to Leorio and Kurapika.

I cuddled with Kurapika.

"Goodnight guys." Kurapika said.

Where would Killua be right now? I thought as I closed my eyes falling asleep.

Killua's POV

I wiped the blood off my hand with a cloth. As I finish, I threw the cloth away.

Looking for a room I slowly opened a door. There were people sleeping inside.

As I was about to close the door I saw Calypso under the dim light.

She was cuddling with Kurapika. It made me clutch on the door tightly, looking at her cuddling with someone who wasn't me.

What am I saying? It's not like she belongs to me. This only made my anger rise more. I shook my head letting it go.

Usually people when they sleep they cuddle to the closest thing to them.

'That must be what happened.' I said trying to convince myself.

I silently walked towards her. Sitting down next to her and the wall. Very uncomfortable may I say but for her I would go to the ends of the world.

I softly took her in my arms playing with her hair. It was really soft. I really love her hair. The feeling of the strands of her hair cascading through my fingers.

"Goodnight, Calypso Acerbi." I whispered as I planted a kiss on her forehead. I lay my head against the wall closing my eyes.

'Goodnight Calypso, I hope you sleep well...' I thought slowly falling asleep.

Hey guys! I fixed the problem so here's the update. It was really frustrating writing this down three times but I'll do anything for my readers. Hope you enjoy! Crappy chapter but yeah.
