Chapter 9: Please...

Previously...
I softly took her in my arms playing with her hair. It was really soft. I really love her hair. The feeling of the strands of her hair cascading through my fingers.

"Goodnight, Calypso Acerbi." I whispered as I planted a kiss on her forehead. I lay my head against the wall closing my eyes.

'Goodnight Calypso, I hope you sleep well...' I thought slowly falling asleep.

Calypso's POV
I woke up to a sleeping Killua. I was on top of him wrapped in his embrace. I slowly pulled away from his embrace. But he held me tight in place not letting me go.

What? But he is asleep.

"Don't leave me please... I need y-you." He looked pained but I couldn't feel anything. It felt so wrong but what is the true meaning of what's wrong?

I pushed his arms away from me. He slowly opened his eyes looking sad.

"Calypso I'm sorry."

"Why are you apologizing?"

"I um... Forget it."

A few minutes we were called due that we arrived to Mountain Split-In-Half.

Killua's POV
What is this? I hate this! Why do I feel like I'm being slowly being ripped apart.

Calypso I need you back. I feel empty without you. I really need the cheery Calypso who was sarcastic and lovable.

The one that made me mad with her sarcastic comments but then I would laugh about it.

It's not that I don't like her but it pains me seeing that she doesn't feel the same. Maybe she never loved me and it was just one sided. I feel like I'm slowly losing myself.

When I woke up I saw you and I thought you were the sun. You light up the dark void inside of me. I woke up just to see your face, reminding me that you are still somewhere inside that body.

I just want it to be you and I forever but... I know that is only my heart playing tricks with me.

Damn it! Calypso please tell me it's not just me because I can't bring myself to face you.

Please...

My feeling have only grown stronger. Every minute I'm near you they become far more powerful.

I gotta move my feelings aside right now I need to complete this exam and be with Gon. Also, Calypso I need to bring you back.

That is something I'm going to complete even if it's the last thing that I'll do.

Calypso's POV
Walking out of the ship the mountain came into view. Menchi started talking about how to get an egg from the cliff and how to cook it.

These were no ordinary eggs.

No. Only spider eggs.

Gon and the others were about to jump but I jumped first. Then I saw Than jump too and the others followed.

There I hung waiting for the wind.

Some committed suicide and others waited patiently.

I was neither, I wanted to jump already but stayed still.

When the wind blew I jumped and took an egg. The wind carried us to the surface. There we cooked our eggs. All this time Killua has been looking at me with a glint of worry in his eyes. I shrugged it thinking I was overthinking again and started eating my egg.

"This tastes so good!" I said finishing my egg. Killua just smiled but this smile looked forced. I went next to him and placed my hand on his shoulder.

Suddenly I felt this weird electricity run through me. It filled my body.

"Killua don't give up on me... Please don't leave me. I am waiting for you." I said smiling and then I felt the electricity leave my body.

Falling Killua caught me. Than saw me and came running while panicking.

"What did you do Killua!?"

"Nothing! All I know is she suddenly out of nowhere said something... Strange."

"What are you guys talking about?" I said without any emotion. No one answered me so I just stood there looking at the people eating their eggs.

Killua's POV

"That's strange... Wait... Did she make contact with you?" Than said.

"Kind of. She touched my arm and then she said something about coming back but I don't remember well."

"This means she's still fighting. Wow what a stubborn girl." Than said smiling while walking inside the airship.

Lies... I remember exactly what she said.

"Killua don't give up on me... Please don't leave me. I'll be waiting for you." She said.

Calypso I would never give up on you but please come back we need you... I need you.
