Chapter 15: Spread your wings.

"Thank you... I don't know what I would do without you." I said while feeling him engulf me in his warm embrace.

Calypso's POV
Right now I'm running trying to find a place where I can hide.

In this Phase we had to take a card that had a number which is the badge number of your target. We need six points to advance to the Final Phase. Our own badge is worth three points and our target's badge is also three points. The other badges are worth one point.

My target is 198. I don't know who is that. I didn't think the badges were important. Also, I don't know where are the others. Oh boy! I'm dead. I'm just going to protect my tag and try to find Killua. Yeah! If I freaking knew where he was!

This is frustrating. All that I can imagine is me dying because I'm just a normal human. I hid my badge and my target's number inside my bra because I don't want anyone seeing it.

I'm going to try calling out for Killua.

"KILLUA! WHERE ARE YOU?" I screamed clutching my knife in the palm of my hand.

Suddenly I heard the rustling of clothes and some footsteps. I look behind me and there was a person charging a weird yellow light at me.

"What the...?" I screamed while running away.

I can't fight with just a knife!!

I did the most stupid thing anyone could do... I looked back.

I saw everything in slow motion. I saw as the yellow light approached me and I was filled with fear. I did not sign up for this! I tried to dodge it but the edge of the light hit my arm.

I screamed in pain. The pain was excruciating. I was cornered now. I'm in between a cliff and the person.
I can't believe I'm going to die here and now.

My vision became hazy and I saw as the person walked towards me. I couldn't make out his/her features. Then in just a blink of an eye the person's face was next to my ear.

"Let's see if the little angel can fly." It was a guy's voice. I knew by the sound of his voice that he was smirking.

"Spread your wings because soon you'll no longer have any feathers." I gulped as I felt his hands crept to my waist and I felt his lips on my neck.

Then the wind faded. It felt like my heart was the only thing I could hear. With just one push I felt myself falling.

So this is how it feels to fly but... How can you fly when you don't have wings? I felt as any time my whole life would crash with me.

"Killua!" I said with the last breathe I could muster.

Killua's POV
Walking around the trees I felt the cold wind hit me. I got this weird feeling that something is going to happen.

I look around me and I found myself standing right below a cliff. I see a bright yellow light.

"What was that?" I ask myself under my breathe.

Again I see the light but it's followed by screams. Wait... I recognize that voice!

Calypso.

All of the sudden I see her small body falling off the cliff. I ran and caught her before she touched the ground. I look at her face and it was really pale.

"Calypso what have you gotten yourself into..." I felt a rush of sadness and anger come into me.

I'm mad that I wasn't there for you, when you needed me!

"I failed you..." A tear falling on her cheek. I wiped my eye and place her down on the floor. I punched the ground feeling powerless.

I need to go get my badge and hers. She can't move in the conditions she is right now.

I took her in my arms and started carrying her bridal style.

Wait but I don't know her target's number... I search on her pocket but found nothing.

Where the hell did she placed it?

Then I see that her shirt is burnt. It must be from the light I saw. I spot a paper in the edge of her cleavage.

"Why? Just why Calypso?" I mentally face palm myself.

"Please forgive me." I said reaching for the piece of paper.

Looking at the number I felt my cheeks burn.

"198." That's her target's number.

"Let's just wait and see what happens." I said placing a kiss on her forehead.

Calypso's POV
I opened my eyes blinded by the light. I see Killua walking towards me with two badges on his hand.

"What happened to me?" I ask slowly trying to stand up but failing miserably.

"Hey hey take it slow." He says helping me stand up.

"Thanks.." I said but gasp as I look at my shirt.

"What happened to my clothes!?" I said trying to hide my bra. I saw Killua blushing but I got interrupted by a headache.

"Crap!" I screamed in agony. I felt Killua's hand on my waist lending me balance.

Then it all hit me like a truck. Everything that happened rushed back into me.

Who was he...

Gaining back my balance I stood next to Killua.

"Hey that's my target's badge! Where did you get it?" I asked taking it in my hand.

"Oh... My target was his brother so I knocked them both down." He said blushing.

'What would I do without him?' I smiled at the thought.

I hugged him tightly receiving his warmness. I looked at his eyes and found myself falling in love for him again. Giving him a small soft kiss on his lips. I gained a shocked blushing Killua. He is so adorable.

Then I felt him kiss me back. He made all this mess I got myself into worth it. He makes my life worth living for.

Walking back to the waiting area I took his hand in mine holding it tightly.
