Remus and Sirius were sitting on the couch in the middle of the common room. For the past 45 minutes Remus has been debating asking Sirius out on a date. Suddenly Sirius got up and said that he was going to find Lily. Remus decided it was now or never.
"Uh, Sirius wait!" Remus said as he sprung up from the couch. Sirius wasn't far from the back of the couch. He looked over at Remus and asked "Yes, Moons?" Remus swallowed and asked "Would you.. uh.. Would you like to go to the three broomsticks with me, sometime.... Just us...?" Sirius turned bright red and looked down at his shoes nervously for a second. "Are-Are you asking me out on a date, Lupin?" He asked looking up into Remus' honey brown eyes. "Uhm.. yes, yes I think I am" he said a bit nervous. "Well.. I'd love to go out with you." Sirius said. Remus smiled widely. "Great! Why don't we go this weekend. We can just ditch James and Peter and go to the Three Broomsticks then maybe Zonko's or something." Remus said. Sirius smiled as well. "I'd love that. It's a date." Sirius said. The both nodded awkwardly before Sirius rushed out of the common room to find Lily and Remus rushed up to the dorms to calm his blush down.
