Hurful and loving words

~Hogsmeade - Sixth Year~

Today is a Saturday, that means they can go to Hogsmeade. Remus decided to take his boyfriend, Sirius, out into the small town today so they could spend some time together away from their two crazy friends who support them, but always tease
them.

"You look pretty," Remus said as Sirius walked down the stairs from their dorm and into the common room where Remus was waiting for him.

"Thank you," Sirius said, his cheeks went a bit pink.

Usually he would respond with something witty, but when he's with Remus, the compliments mean a whole lot more.

Sirius decided that he was going to wear a high waisted black plaid mini skirt with a tucked in grey band shirt, matched with his black Doc Martens that had thicker soles so that he looked a bit taller, still shorter than Remus though. His hair was just hanging down loosely, but looked fabulous, as always.

Remus decided that he was going to wear some baggy mom jeans, a navy blue crewneck with a white collar sticking out the top, the pearl necklace that Sirius got for him which he loves, and some plain black vans shoes.

"Ready to go?" Remus asked, holding his hand out.

"Yep," Sirius smiled, gently taking a hold of Remus" hand as they walked out of the castle and towards Hogsmeade.

Once they got to the town, Remus took Sirius into the three broomsticks to have a drink. They both ordered a butterbeer and chatted, occasionally waving or saying hi to anyone they knew from school.

"So, what do you wanna do after this?" Sirius asked.

"I don't know." Remus said, thinking of their next possible activity.

"Well, first we will go to Honeydukes to get you your chocolate, then can we go to Zonko's?" Sirius said and Remus smiled at his boyfriend for knowing him so well.

"Of course, love," Remus said, holding Sirius' hand on the table.

"Let me just go and pay," He then said, standing up as Sirius finished off the last bit of his butterbeer.

The couple walked hand in hand down the main shopping street in Hogsmeade until they reached Honeydukes. They decided that Sirius was just going to wait outside since it was really crowded in the shop and they were only going there so that Remus could buy some chocolate.

"Are you a boy?" A woman spat as she saw Sirius from a distance, he was just leaning against the outside wall of the shop, kicking around a stone on the floor as he waited.

"Me? Yes?" Sirius said, confused as to why this lady seemed so cross at him.

"Are you playing dress up or something?!" She said, disgustedly as she looked Sirius up and down.

"No? Oh my god it's you-" Sirius muttered, he had met this woman before, she always had something to say about the way he dresses.

"You're even wearing makeup! How very un-manly of you. You should be ashamed. No girl will want to marry you!" The woman insulted him.

"Stop telling me that wearing a skirt, putting on makeup, and having long hair isn't manly, Karen!" Sirius shot back, finally having enough of this woman's cruel words.

"I'm not trying to look manly!" He said to her and she looked confused and disgusted at the same time.

"I'm trying to look pretty to attract my sexy werewolf boyfriend!" Sirius finished, smirking at the woman's expression.

Just then, Remus stepped out of Honeydukes and went to stand next to Sirius after only hearing the part about Sirius' 'Sexy werewolf boyfriend'

"Hey, Pads. Who's this?" Remus asked, looking at the woman in confusion.

"Not worth your time, that's who." Sirius said and turned to walk away, his hair flipping around as he spun.

"I'm sorry, did he bother you?" Remus asked the woman, not knowing about what just happened.

"Yes! You need to tell him to stop being childish, wear some proper clothes, and that being gay is unacceptable!" She complained to Remus, not knowing who Remus was.

"Of course, I will tell him not to interact with dirty scum like you who belittle people just because of their interests. And just to tell you, I'm his werewolf boyfriend." Remus said in a scarily calm tone before flashing his canine's that usually appear a few days before a full moon.

The lady took a step back before turning and running away around the corner. Remus smiled, satisfied with himself before he realised Sirius was gone.

He quickly walked in the direction that Sirius went, using his enhanced senses to try and follow Sirius scent, which led him right to him.

"Hey, Baby. You ok?" Remus asked as he slowly approached Sirius. He was sitting on a giant rock, facing the shrieking shack which is where he will be spending the night with the other two marauders and Moony in a few days.

"Yeah," Sirius sniffled, wiping his face before turning to look at Remus with a sad smile.

"You sure?" Remus asked, sitting down next to Sirius on the giant rock, motioning for Sirius to sit on his lap, which he did.

"Do you think I'm manly?" Sirius asked after he had sat down on Remus' lap and a few moments of silence went by.

"I think the question you're asking is do I want you to be manly." Remus said, waiting for Sirius to respond. He responded with a slight nod.

"I want you to be whatever you want to be. If you want to be manly, then I'm all for it. But if you want to be femenine, then I'm all for that too. You could be a mix of both for all I care. Whether you're manly or not doesn't change my love for you. And it certainly doesn't change your value. I love you for the way you are. I love when you're in love, I'm happy when you're happy, and I'm sad when you're sad. I love you because of your personality, and of course how gorgeous you are, but if you woke up tomorrow with a million ugly hexes on your face, I'm not going to leave you. Plus, everyone has flaws, look at all my scars-" Remus said before getting interrupted.

"But your scars are beautiful," Sirius said.

"That's how I feel about all of your imperfections and flaws. Which by the way, isn't many things." Remus laughed lightly, making Sirius smile slightly.

"I love that this is how you express yourself because it shows that you aren't afraid to be who you are. It shows me that you're strong, and brave. That you value your own preferences instead of just going with the 'norms'. That you aren't afraid to stand up for what you believe. And that's what I love you for.
Not because you're manly or not." Remus finished and Sirius turned to look at him.

"I love you too," Sirius whispered before Remus leaned forwards and connected their lips in a sweet and loving kiss.

"So, how about Zonko's?" Remus smiled as they ended the kiss, causing Sirius to smile mischievously.
