Jumper Theif

Remus had begun to notice how his things started going missing, specifically his jumpers. Now at first he thought he might've misplaced them, but he couldn't be that messy or forgetful; it was really confusing him. However, over time it wasn't like he found them under his bed or in his closet, he actually had no idea where they were going, but he knew the exact culprit, Sirius. He wanted to confront him about it, now he wasn't mad or anything at him. Hell, he could never be mad at his boyfriend over something so silly, he just wanted to ask why. The only problem was catching him, Sirius didn't seem to actually wear them around the castle on a daily basis he seemed to be taking them and wearing them in a secretive sort of way.

How would Remus catch him?, An answer he could not formulate, unless he stayed up late and of course didn't look totally suspicious while doing so. He gnawed on a piece of chocolate while thinking, he could always just get new jumpers and just ignore the fact most of his were being borrowed as he put it, but he'd rather keep his old ones as most of them were gifts.

One day he was lucky enough to catch him curled up by the fireplace in the common room. He was reading for once- Actually he reads a lot but always deny's it. In one of his sweaters. And yes, he did look absolutely adorable. Shut it.

"Hey Sirius" Remus sat on the floor below him Sirius was started for a moment "It's only you-
Merlin you scared me"

"Sorry, but I have to ask you something"

"Hm?"

"Are you the one stealing my jumpers?" Remus
asked.

Sirius broke any eye contact they had, now though they were boyfriends of course he wasn't going to be completely fine with telling him he'd been taking most of his jumpers and never returning them.

"Look I don't mind if you do just please return them, my closet is looking sad" Remus said.

Sirius looked back at him, feeling better about it at least he wasn't mad, why would he be? "Alright yes I've been stealing your jumpers and I've been meaning to return them at some point that is"

"Where have you been keeping them anyways?, I looked almost everywhere for them" Remus asked.

"Oh-Simply in my trunk, mainly because I know you wouldn't just search through it without permission" Sirius said

"Merlin I'm stupid, I thought you would've left them somewhere I'd known" Remus laid back on
the floor, now staring at the ceiling.

"Well some of us know how to get around you" Sirius chuckled, getting off the chair and curling up beside his boyfriend "You can't complain at least I didn't steal any of your chocolate like James did a few days ago" he immediately threw a hand over his mouth

"He did what now-" That sent Remus up the stairs quickly, and the door slammed open "James you little shit!"

Sirius stood at the doorway and mouthed 'sorry' to him.

"Sirius, why'd you tell!?" James was now running around the room from Remus.

"It slipped out"

"Look it wasn't that much a few squares at least" James hopped onto his bed "Relax Moons"

Remus huffed "You know the rules about me and my chocolate stash"

"Does it apply to the jumper thief over there?" James asked, pointing a finger towards Sirius

"Possibly" Remus had a sly smirk on his face

"This is so unfair" James crossed his arms

"Well Sirius is my boyfriend after all, special privileges" Remus said

"I call bullshit I'm out" James got up, threw his hands up in surrender and walked out

Sirius shut the door behind him, and went to his trunk rummaging through it for all the jumpers
and handed them to Remus. "Here you can have them back now. Wait not that one" Sirius said handing all but one green and grey sweater to Remus.

Remus just smiled at Sirius and took them and began putting them back in his closet "Feel free to steal them whenever just put them back, alright?"

"Alright"

That was one thing Remus figured out, now he had to figure out where to hide his chocolate stash, and keep it safe from James.
