Hey guys! Ahyescaffeine here! Thank you so much for reading this fic! I know it's pretty long this time, which is why I'm so thankful to those of you that stuck to the end! It means so much to me that you guys enjoyed it, and I don't think I would've been able to finish it without your support!
So uh, the inspiration for this fic was my friend saying 'what if Childe knew Zhongli was Rex Lapis when Rex Lapis died ' and I replied by saying 'haha yeah and Childe realized Zhongli is Rex Lapis by recognizing Zhongli's abs on the statues' and cue the judgmental stares from my friends, but it turned into so much more than I thought it would be.
I was also debating on whether I wanted to make it a sad ending where Childe and Zhongli acknowledge each other but go their separate ways but I decided this was probably better.
