My eyes opened to see a dark blood red room. Immediately, I check my arm. To my surprise there were no bruises or red marks. I let out a relieved sigh. 'The pain from that dream felt so real!' My mind spoke. I looked to see Wadim, who to my horror was in a bed next to me, arms tightly surrounding my waist. Instantly I had tried to remove the others arms, however it only encouraged him to hug tighter. With a deep sigh, I stopped. 'This is getting me no where.' I thought again. My eyes examined his sleeping figure. 'Was he really that bad to the old me? That would explain his possessiveness to say the least.' I retorted. With a small snort.

"Hmm.." Wadim, sluggishly spoke. "Marc what are you doing up? It's late."

"Oh I uh-" Before I could finish Wadim roughly pulled me closer towards him.

"Go back to sleep." He whispered. Slowly falling back into his own dreams. With a deep sigh I did just that. Closing my eyes slowly. Yet another memory returning to me.

------------------------------------------------------

"Hmm, lets see. Spells for injuries." Willow mumbled to herself. As she searched her large spell book. Absently I began to kick my legs in the air in a childish fashion. "Love potions, no. Princes to toads, no."

'Maybe you should turn Wadim into a toad.' I joked to myself. Slowly letting out a small laugh.

"Whats so funny?" Willow questioned.

"Nothing" I responded with a small shrug of the shoulders. Forgetting the fact that her back was in fact turned facing me.

"Doesn't seem like nothing to me, ah yes here it is." She enthusiastically announced. Reaching for her wand she turned to face me. "This may hurt a little." She quickly spoke.

"Wait wha-ow!" I shouted grasping my injured arm.

"Oh don't be such a baby." She joked taking a seat next to me. Her legs mimicking my childish fashion. My eyes looked back towards my hand. The large bruise once forming was now gone, making my arm look good as new.

"Magic is just amazing isn't it?" She asked, her voice not hiding the happiness she felt. Willow had a love for spells, even the thought of using one or even reading about one sent her into her wildest fantasies.

"Hey, I have super speed and strength at my beck and call, you need some dead stick." I commented. Feeling like my vampire pride had been hurt. The thirty year old laughed. Forcing me to pout.

"Rowena was right, you are too spoiled." I glared at her.

"You listened to that mutt?" The motherly figure shrugged.
"Naturally." She commented. Her legs bumping into mine.

We both remained silent. Willow, probably obsessing over some new spell, and me, not entirely sure what to talk to her about. I cleared my throat. Earning her, divided attention on me.

"Willow, your old right?" The woman sent me a playful glare.
"Dracula, hasn't Vladamire ever told you to never speak about a woman's age?" She inquired. I shrugged again. Seemingly to starting a habit with that one simple action.

"What do you know about, well love?" I questioned. Waiting for some sort of embarrassing question from my only motherly figure. Her light ocean colored eyes narrowed slightly.

"You mean love potions?"

"No, like.." I trailed off. Trying to think of the least embarrassing way to hurt my pride. "Kissing and.." I coughed. "Other stuff."

"Hasn't Vladamire had 'the talk with you yet'? Is that what your asking about?" She questioned. Showing hints of amusement in his voice. I turned to glare at her. Not entirely in the mood for her jokes.

"Oh relax." She said, her arm now covering my shoulder in a friendly manner. "I know what your talking about. So ask your question." I thought for a split second. Making sure to not hurt my pride anymore.

"Well, I over heard some humans talking about love. How exactly do you know if you love someone and if it's in a caring way or a well, the talk way?" The older giggled in a girly fashion at my question.

"Oh, to simply put it. What your heart tells you, is your answer." I huffed at her answer.

"Your telling that, to a creature with no heart."

"You have a heart Dracula, you just try to hide it from others." She responded. Her voice showing a hint of experience. I nodded. Hoping this embarrassing conversation would be over soon. "Is that boy from earlier the one your talking about?" She continued. Making me nearly choke on my own saliva.

"What no! That freak is the cause of Vladamire's suffering, I could never love him." I explained not watching what I had said. Instantly the old witch was on her feet. Her eyes staring into mine.

"Dracula, what did he say about Vladamire's condition." She asked. All amusement disheartening from her voice with each passing second. I looked away, hoping to avoid her gaze. "Dracula" She warned. Sounding like an angered animal. I let out a shaky breath.

"He said, that Vladamire had ne-narcolepsy I think it was called. Some sort of human disease.

"The one that causes deep sleeping?" Willow cut in. I nodded.

"He said he had the cure, and that he would, give it to him." I continued as her eyes turned darker.

"In exchange for what?" She asked. I shook my head.

"That doesn't matter, we have to help Vladamire!" I shouted at her. My eyes meeting hers once again. Her hands grabbed my shoulders.

"Dracula, my job is to put you first. Now tell me, what did he want in return."

"Me, ok?" I shouted at her. Forgetting who I was speaking to. Willow immediately released her grip from my shoulders In surprise. I cleared my throat. "Look, it's my fault for being so careless so I might as well make the deal." Willow shook her head,

"No need." She commented. I looked at her confused. The older woman began to pace. Occasionally mumbling to herself. I watch with deep interest. Finding her pace very entertaining to say the least. A loud knock at the door interrupted our thoughts. Rowena slammed open the door nearly breaking it off it's hinges.
"Vladamire is getting worse, you're needed." The youths eyes immediately landed on me.

"Of course, right away!" The oldest responded pushing past Rowena. The girl held a knowing smirk as she folded her arms and began to lean on the wall nearest to her.

"So lover boy, I hear your little Romeo came to visit." She mocked. "Did you two kiss?" She continued.

"I don't have time for you dog." I mumbled at her. Leaping off of the table I was once sitting on. Quickly I paced towards the door.

"Hey-" Rowena spoke stopping my with her furry hands. "Where do you think you're going?" She questioned. With hints of authority in her voice. I glared at her.

"I'm getting the cure for Vladamire." Rowena tightened her hold. Her hands beginning to turn white.

"I over heard your little conversation. You're not giving you self up to that idiot." I shook my head.

"Now what gave you the impression, that I was going to do that?" I spoke. Giving her a mischievous smirk.

"Oh count me in." She responded. I nodded. Knowing full well that releasing her on Wadim's little cult could kill them all in an instant.

"But first." I commented. Rubbing my hands together in a teasing manner. "Were going to need a little help."
