A lone figure entered the destroyed mansion. Nothing but dust, sand, and debris remained of the fallen cult members. Gloved hands cautiously picked up the sand. Running it through the fingers. The giant hole creatures only a few hours ago, allowed moon light from the waxing gibbous to illuminate the coffins and treasures attempting to hide within the shadows.
The dark creature continued to examine the room. Taking no particular interest in anything. A small blue light appeared suddenly. Creating an eerie blue glow surrounding the entire room. The little orb moved towards one particular pile of sand. The unknown person followed. His hands now examining the small grains.
"Those fools." The stranger hissed out. Rudely dropping the remaining pieces onto the ground carelessly. It's demon like eyes narrowing at the specks in front of him. "The prince was practically gift wrapped and handed to them with a bow, yet the have the guts to fail." It continued to hiss. The fairy like sky colored orb began to moved frantically around the pile of sand. Now under the demons foot. Looking down, the creature began to smirk. It's smile resembling one of a possessed child. "Perhaps all is not lost." It spoke in a dark tone to the air surrounding it. "This soul, the hatred radiating off of it. Could be of much use to me." The demon like creature began to laugh. While reaching down. Deciding that it's job was done. The ocean like ball disappeared. Leaving the other to complete darkness.
