Eddie could only sit in shock as Katherine spoke. The hair on the back of his neck rose as he felt her breath next to his ear. Katherine continued to run her hands through Eddie's hair, a smirk on her lips. Eddie slowly brought his hands to her waist, almost afraid to touch her. He stood up, causing Katherine's hands to fall around his neck.

When he finally met her eyes, Katherine grinned. God, her smile could make Eddie turn to putty in her hands. His eyes flicked to her lips quickly. Katherine raised a hand to touch his cheek, but the slamming of the trailer door caused her to jump out of his grasp.

"Eddie, you home?" a voice called from the living room area of the trailer.

"Yeah, I'm here," Eddie called back. He guided Katherine back to the main part of the trailer. His uncle, Wayne, was standing in the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water.

"I was just stopping home to shower quick. I'm driving Katherine to bring movies to her brother and his friends. Katherine, this is my uncle," Eddie introduced the girl to his uncle.

"Hi Mr. Munson. I'm Katherine Wheeler," she said, extending her hand to shake the older man's hand, which he accepted.

"Oh, please, call me Wayne. You're the girl who Eddie is doing the English project with, right?" Wayne asked. Katherine had raised an eyebrow at Eddie. He talked about her?

"Yes. That's me," Katherine laughed. Eddie, who seemed to be getting more nervous by the second, decided it was time for them to leave.

"Well, we need to get going. I'll see you later," he said to his uncle.

"It was nice to meet you," Katherine said before exiting the trailer, Eddie in tow. They got into the van and Eddie started it up.

"You okay?" Katherine asked.

"Yup," Eddie said, flipping through his cassettes. He found one he liked and popped it in before driving out of the trailer park towards Family Video. It wasn't a very long drive, which was good. Normally the two could sit in silence comfortably, but this time was different. Katherine wasn't quite sure what to say.

"Your uncle seems nice," she said after a minute. Eddie hummed in response.

After another minute of silence, she tried again.

"So you talk about me?" Katherine said in a joking tone. Eddie smiled a bit this time. Bingo.

"I just told him I was working on a project with someone and he asked who, so I told him. Don't flatter yourself too much, Wheeler," Eddie joked back. It was Katherine's turn to smile. After another two minutes of driving, Eddie pulled the van into the parking lot for Family Video. Keith's car wasn't in the parking lot. Perfect.

"You can stay here if you want," Katherine said, getting out of the van and walking to the door of the shop. She didn't wait for Eddie to respond, so she didn't notice him walking in a few steps behind her.

Katherine roamed the shelves for a bit before pulling six more movies out. She brought them up to the counter where Steve stood.

"You feeling any better?" Steve asked. Katherine just nodded, finally noticing Eddie standing next to her. As Steve started checking out the movies, Katherine walked behind the counter.

"Is Robin back here?" Katherine asked Steve pointing to the office.

"Yeah, why?" Steve responded. Katherine didn't respond, only slipped him her Family Video rental card before walking into the office, shutting the door behind her. Robin looked up from the magazine she was reading.

"Robin I'm having a crisis," Katherine whispered. Robin instantly dropped the magazine and turned to face her friend, giving her the "go ahead" to start talking.
