Some Eddie fluff for all of you since I'm sure we all need it after Volume 2 :)

Katherine woke up to a weight on her chest. She opened one eye to see Eddie laying on top of her. He had his arms wrapped around her stomach and his head was buried right into her neck. She looked at her clock and saw that two hours had passed, but it wasn't even 11 AM yet. Katherine lifted a hand and brought it up to Eddie's head, running it through his hair. He stirred slightly, but nuzzled more into her neck, if that was even possible.

Katherine could feel him smile against her neck in his sleep as she continued to play with his hair. She stopped for a moment to rub the sleep out of her eyes, which Eddie didn't seem to like.

"Why'd you stop?" he grumbled, his eyes still closed. Katherine chuckled as Eddie grabbed her hand and placed it back into his hair. 

"Someone's needy," she joked, but continued playing with his hair. 

"It feels nice," he mumbled. Eddie yawned and pressed a light kiss against Katherine's neck, followed by one on her jaw. Then he went back down into the spot he was sleeping in originally. 

"That tickled," Katherine said, airy laughs came from her throat. She felt him smile once more. He brought one of hands under her shirt just a bit, trying to get closer to her. His calloused fingers burned against the skin of her stomach. Thank God that he still had his eyes closed or else he would see the bright red color that was spread across her cheeks. Her heart fluttered when he started slowly rubbing his thumb in circles against her waist. She planted a kiss on the top of his head, which made him look up at her. He gave her a smile and propped himself up on his elbow.

Eddie gently kissed her forehead and brushed a stray strand of hair away from her face. Katherine blushed and smiled, causing Eddie to grin.

"There's that pretty smile," he whispered, causing Katherine to blush harder. She pressed her face into this shoulder to hide it from his view. Eddie laughed at the girl's actions.

"Awe. Is big, bad, Katie Wheeler embarrassed?" Eddie asked tauntingly. She shoved his shoulder lightly, laughing along with him. 

"Shut up," she mumbled into his shoulder. Eddie rolled so that he was on his back and pulled Katherine on top of him. He wrapped his arms tightly around her. 

"You're trapped. There is no escape," he joked, tickling Katherine lightly. The giggles that came from her mouth was like music to Eddie's ears. 

"No escape at all? Are you sure?" Katherine asked once Eddie stopped tickling her. Eddie seemed to think about it for a minute. 

"Hmm, I could think of something," he said. Katherine laughed and gave him a peck on the cheek. Satisfied enough, he loosened his grip around her. She wiggled out of his arms and stood up, but he pouted when she got out of the bed. 

"I'm just running to the bathroom. I'll be right back," she said. He gave her a small smile and pulled the blanket up to his chin. 

Katherine used the bathroom and stared into the mirror as she washed her hands. Her eyes were drawn to her neck, which still had marks on it from Tuesday night. They were faded a bit, but still noticeable. She frowned, still feeling guilty about what she did, as she ran her fingers across the marks. Katherine forced herself to look away from them and put her hood back up. 

She walked back into her room to see Eddie sitting up on her bed with a throw blanket wrapped around him. He opened his arms for a hug, but held onto the edges of the blanket. Katherine walked into his arm and he wrapped her in the blanket. She laughed as he rocked them back and forth, which caused him to laugh.
