Katherine groaned as she woke up, feeling an arm wrapped around her. Shit. What did she do last night? Well obviously she knew what she did, but was she really that stupid? Apparently she was. She turned over and glanced at the alarm clock, which started beeping right as she looked at it.
Andy woke up and turned it off. He was much more of a morning person than Katherine, which wasn't hard to do. He planted a kiss on Katherine's cheek as he got up. Katherine grimaced once he was turned around. She got out of the bed and pulled on her clothes from the night before.
After using the bathroom she looked in the mirror as she washed her hands. Her neck was covered in hickeys. No amount of color corrector and makeup would be able to cover them. Katherine sighed and ran her hands through her hair. She looked like shit. Her eyes were red from crying last night, and her normal eye bags were even more pronounced. She noticed that the nostril that she snorted the blow into was slightly irritated. She patted down her pockets for the baggie, only to remember that it was in her jacket pocket that was on the couch downstairs.
Katherine walked downstairs and put her jacket on. Andy walked down shortly after.
"I need you to drive me home," Katherine said, lacing up her shoes. He looked at her from the kitchen where he was grabbing something to eat on his way to school.
"Sure thing, babe," Andy said. Katherine snapped her head to look at him.
"Don't call me that. We aren't back together. It was a one time thing," she argued. Andy looked at her, amused.
"Whatever you say Kate." Katherine glared at him and grabbed her bag before walking to his car.
She pulled the small bag from her pocket and quickly scooped some of the white powder with the underside of her pinky nail and snorted it, then repeated it with another scoop. She closed the baggie and put it back into her pocket just before Andy got into the car. He played music over the radio as he drove her home, but she just stared out the window.
Andy pulled into her driveway after a short drive and Katherine turned to get out of the car. He quickly grabbed her wrist and turned her, planting a quick kiss on her lips before letting her go. Katherine's eyes widened in shock, but she got out of the car quickly. Right before Andy pulled out of the driveway, Steve and Robin pulled into the driveway, looking at the basketball player drive.
They weren't the only ones to see this exchange.
Mike had watched the whole thing as he went to grab his bike to ride to school. He looked on in utter disbelief as his sister stepped out of her ex-boyfriend's car after he had kissed her, her neck covered in hickeys. Think he should mind his own business, he biked away to school.
Katherine walked to go into the house, but Steve honked his car horn at her. Whipping around, Katherine glared at Steve. His eyes widened and Robin's jaw dropped when they saw the state of her neck. Rolling her eyes, she trudged over to the car and Steve rolled down his window.
"I'm not going to school today. Just tell them I'm sick," she said. Steve just blinked at her, clearly confused.
"Is there a reason why you were getting out of your ex's car?" Steve eventually asked.
"Or why your neck is completely covered in hickeys?" Robin added.
"I don't want to talk about it. If anyone asks, I'm sick," Katherine said, turning around. Before either teen in the car could argue, Katherine walked into her house and slammed the door behind her.
Steve and Robin looked at each other, concerned.
"That's not good," Robin muttered. Steve nodded.
"Do you think something happened last night?" he asked.
