When Katherine woke up, Eddie's nose was pressed into her back. Well, it was more between her back and shoulder. Eddie's arm was wrapped around her waist, pulling her towards his chest. Their legs were tangled together.

This wasn't the first time that Katherine and Eddie had fallen asleep together, but this time was different. Of course it was different, they had slept together for the first time. It was the first time they had spent a full night together. Waking up like this was much more intimate. Katherine could get used to it.

Eddie groaned in his sleep as Katherine shifted, trying to pull her even closer. She checked the alarm clock on the bedside table. It was almost noon.

Katherine rolled over to face Eddie and pressed a small kiss to his lips. He hummed against her lips softly. He threw his one leg across hers, trapping her next to him in her spot.

"Good morning. Time to get up, hon," Katherine whispered, pushing hair out of his face. Eddie buried his head in the crook of her neck.

"No. I'm gonna stay here. And you're gonna stay with me. I'm freezing time. Never letting you go," Eddie grumbled into her neck. Katherine laughed at the feeling of his breath against her neck. He pressed a kiss against her neck.

"Okay, okay. You can freeze time, but only for a little bit," Katherine said. She felt Eddie smile against her neck. He pulled her down slightly so she was the one with her face in his neck. Katherine closed her eyes as Eddie ran his fingers through her hair. Even though she had just woken up, Katherine was about to fall back asleep.

Katherine did, in fact, fall back asleep. Eddie woke up before she did this time. He opened his eyes to see her head on his chest. Her leg was hiked up across his. Eddie didn't want to get up, but he really needed to use the bathroom. He gently shifted himself so he could slip a pillow under her head and slid out of the bed. Katherine grumbled in her sleep, but didn't wake up.

Eddie quietly went to the bathroom, and then went into the kitchen to see if there was anything to eat. There was some eggs and some left over pizza. After a quick game of eenie-meanie-minie-mo,  Eddie settled on eggs, which was one of the things that he could actually cook well. Contrary to popular belief, Eddie could cook, he just didn't like to that often, so he learned to cook a few things really well.

After making some sunny side up eggs (Katherine had mentioned that they were her favorite during a stoned conversation) and some toast, he plated them up and placed them on the table. He poured them some juice and placed the glasses on the table as well. Looking around, he noticed that his uncle was out, then noticed the note taped to the fridge saying that he was out with some of the guys from work and would be back Sunday.

Eddie walked to his room and shook Katherine gently on the shoulder. She grunted in response.

"Katie, it's time to get up. I made us food," Eddie said, continuing to shake her shoulder. The idea of food seemed to get her attention and she woke up. Katherine gave a sleepy smile and stretched, cracking her back.

"Good morning, hon," Katherine said, her voice slightly raspy from sleep. Eddie nearly gave in and jumped back into bed right then.

"It's almost 1:30, but yes, good morning. Now c'mon, I actually cooked for once," Eddie said, lifting her up. He tossed her a pair of shorts for her to put on and watched as she pulled them on. The sight of Katherine in his clothes was really attractive. She looked at him as she adjusted the waistband of the shorts and stuck out her tongue jokingly. Eddie shook his head with a chuckle and kissed her.

He lead her to the kitchen and they sat down at the table. Katherine gave Eddie a look of admiration and disbelief. She couldn't believe that Eddie cooked for her, even if it was just eggs and toast. Katherine planted a kiss on his cheek before she went to sit down. The sensation of sitting caused some discomfort, causing her to hiss.
