8 | Taking Action

(Group one)

The tracker pad didn't make a sound once and Netossa was beginning to worry. What if Glimmer got kidnapped while she was in Erelandia? Netossa knew she should have stayed with her and Mermista but she had to make sure the others were safe.

While she was doing all the work, Entrapta did nothing but examine every Horde Prime robot she saw passing. One almost saw her peeking before Netossa pulled her back down behind the bush.

"Do you have to do this now?" Netossa asked as Entrapta took apart a drone Netossa had just taken down. "It's for science!" Netossa shook her head and the purple-haired princess smiled "Really I just want to know how it works," she said. "Entrapta, how about we find Glimmer first and you can tinker with all the stuff you want at the Fright Zone," Netossa proposed. Entrapta thought about it and eventually agreed.

"Great, let's get go—"

"Netossa!" she heard Glimmer exclaim. There she saw Mermista and Glimmer running in their direction. "Can I tinker with my stuff now?" Entrapta asked. "Sure, knock yourself out," Netossa replied, rushing over to the rest of her friends. Entrapta smiled satisfied.

"Glimmer, I've— we've been looking everywhere for you," Netossa gestured to Entrapta behind her. Mermista and Glimmer nodded in response. "Where's Bow and Adora? Are they okay?" Glimmer asked. Netossa nodded and turned to Mermista.

"Does she—"

"Yes, I know about Bright Moon," Glimmer interrupted her. "I should have known Hordak had greater intentions. I'm... I'm sorry guys." Netossa slowly began to nod. "And what about your powers?" Netossa asked. Glimmer sighed. "Well, they're not as strong as before. The Moonstone's magic is slowly fading. Soon enough, I won't even be able to teleport at all," Glimmer replied.

"Uh, sorry to interrupt," Entrapta mumbled. "But I see more ships coming into our dimension. We don't have much time." Netossa looked back at her friends. "Let's get to the Fright Zone. Quickly!"

(Second group)

It felt like Catra had been searching for hours. Spinerella had been checking from the sky but she kept reporting that she hasn't seen anything or anyone. Neither Bow. Finally, Spinerella checked in after a while. "Uh, you guys might wanna see this," she said.

Bow and Catra followed Spinerella through the Whispering Woods and into a small village. Bow and Catra looked around. "What's wrong?" Bow asked. "That's wrong!" Spinerella exclaimed, pointing at Scorpia, Lonnie, Kyle, and Rogelio in the distance. Only, they looked different. They had green eyes and they were wearing white outfits, all having the Horde symbol on them.

"Did... Hordak change the outfits?" Bow asked Catra. "If he did, he would have run it through me. I didn't know anything about this," Catra replied. Even when they were speaking quietly, the group turned to face them. "Let's just get Scorpia and get out of here," Bow said, which Catra nodded in response.

The three of them approached the soldiers. Scorpia looked over at Catra. "Scorpia, uh, hey!" Catra said, approaching her friend, who didn't reply. Scorpia looked over at Lonnie, who shrugged, and then she looked back at Catra.

"Join me, friend," she said. Catra stared at her curiously. "What is she talking about?" Spinerella whispered. "You think I know shit?" Catra asked. Spinerella shrugged and backed away. She turned to Bow questioningly who was looking off in the distance. She waved her hand in front of his face, he didn't flinch.

"You alright, Bow?" she asked. He slowly turned to face her and she swore his eyes flashed red for a second. "It's that thing again," he replied. "Uh... what thing?" Spinerella asked. "When we were coming to Bright Moon, I saw a black figure with red eyes. Like shadow spies. And I see one... right over there." He pointed to a house in the distance. "Uh, Bow? There's nothing there," Spinerella said. Bow nodded. "Glimmer and Sea Hawk couldn't see it either. Maybe it's just me?" he said.
