Chapter 4 The summer had gone by with out any interupptions and now the group was standing between platform 9 and 10, ready to go back to the place they loved so much for the last time until their kids went there. Abbe and Jaelyn had gotten used to living in the Lupin household. Abbe even started to call him dad. Remus, Sirius and Jaelyn were going to ride on the train with them. This only happened in third year and they didn't even know who he was. Abbe had gone to Diagon Alley about two weeks before school started to get a kitten. This kitten was pure white and had one green and blue eye. She named him Leo after the constellation in the sky. "Abbe, we gotta go through the barrier now." Ron said. She just nodded. She grab onto the handle of the trolley and her kitten and ran through the barrier. On the platform she saw someone who she didn't expect to see until they got to Hogwarts, Sirius Black. He was looking around like he didn't know what to do. "Sirius!" She yelled. He quickly turned and saw Abbe standing there with a huge grin on her face. He grinned back at her and they started running towards each other(not in a romantic way). This was hard though, because of all the people trying to get on the train. They weaved their way in and out of the crowd and eventually go to each other. They embraced, squeezing the air out of each other. "Uhh, Sirius...can't...breathe." Abbe barely wheezed out. "Sorry!" He said as he let go of her. She took a deep breath just to be able to talk. She was going to say hello but Sirius beat her to it. "So, sweeheart," She smiled at his nickname for her, "How's living with Remus?" She was going to respond but she heard someone yelling. "Abbe!" Maggie shouted. She was Sirius's daughter and Abbe's best friend. She was also a Gryffindor Seventh Year. Her mom had died in the Battle in the Department Of Mysteries two years ago. "Maggie!" She yelled back and hugged her. She stepped away briefly so she could hug her dad. "So, shall we get a compartment and wait for the others?" Maggie suggested. "I Think we shall!" Abbe yelled. She grabbed Maggie's arm and dragged her into the train. They left Sirius behind laughing, grabbing their luggage and running after them. Soon Remus, Abbe, Jaelyn (she was sitting on Hermione's lap), Maggie, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Sirius were all in a bigger compartment so all of them could fit. The trolley with candy had already come by and they stocked up on all the food they could afford. They had Licorice Wands, Chocolate Frogs, Sugar Quills and even Pumpkin Pasties. Right now they were all daring each other to eat a certain color of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans. It was now Abbe's turn and she was hoping for a good one. Ron handed her a bean that was mixed with green and red. This bean could taste like a strawberry or maybe even a mix of blood and grass. Gross! She slowly put it in her mouth closing her eyes tight. So far none of the things she had gotten were bad. She had gotten popcorn, grape and toasted marshmallow. She was sure they would give her something disgusting. She started to chew and the look on her face showed that she loved it. She loved this flavor! It was strawberry kiwi. "Your turn Sirius." Abbe said as she dug her hand into the box. She pulled out a pure red jelly bean. This flavor was ketchup. Sirius was absolutely disgusted by ketchup when they went to a muggle restaurant. Perfect! She handed Sirius the bean with a mischievous look on her face. He took it noting the look on her face. He carefully put it in his mouth like it was going to explode. He started chew the bean and the look on his face turned into pure disgust! He spit out the bean into a cup that also featured grass, vomit and pepper jelly beans. Everyone started laughing out loud! Well, everyone except Sirius. He was staring at Abbe with a mad look on his face. Abbe noticed and grabbed Jaelyn and stood up. "I am going to go see if I can find Draco." She said as she was stepping out of the compartment. "Okay!" They yelled. "Be careful." She heard Remus add. She started walking towards where the Slytherins usually sit. She looked into a certain compartment and saw Draco looking out the window. She knocked on the window to get his attention. He looked towards the window and smiled. Not a genuine smile, but more of a 'you should be scared' smile. She thought nothing of it though. She opened the compartment door and stepped in. She turned back around to shut the door and she heard a sort of swooshing sound. She turned around quickly and saw that she was no longer Draco but with two of his so called 'friends' (not Crabbe and Goyle). They were Jake Wolfe and Katie Atkins. She knew why they were there. They wanted her gone. She quickly turned back around and tried to leave. Forgetting that the two were in there she sat Jaelyn down and tried to open the door with both of her hands. She heard crying behind her and saw that they had Jaelyn. "Ain't she a cutie, Jake?" Katie asked. Abbe winced at her terrible grammar. "Yeah, i'll bring her to show Draco, I am sure he would want to see her." With that he opened the door quickly and left, not leaving time for Abbe to escape. "So, mudblood, are you ready for some terrible hexes or should I just kill you?" Katie asked. Abbe just stood there too shocked to say anything. "Hexes it is then. SECTUMSEMPRA!" The curse slashed her chest like a hot knife through butter. She fell to the ground with the blood pouring everywhere throughout the compartment. Katie was just standing there laughing. Abbe started coughing up blood. 'This is it,' she thought, 'I am going to die on the train to Hogwarts.' There was knock on the door but that was all Abbe heard before she passed out from to much blood loss. Draco's POV He was looking around the train trying to find Abbe when he spotted Harry, Ron and Hermione in a compartment. He opened the door and poked his head in. "Hey guys, have you seen Abbe?" He asked them. "Yeah, she said she was going to look for you." Remus said. "She had Jaelyn with---" he was going to continue when he heard someone behind Draco say "We got the girl, she is with Katie probably being tortured. I have got the little one right here. I plan on giving her to Draco, see if he can do anything to her." The boy, Jake said. Draco quickly whipped around to face Jake. He took Jaelyn out of his hands and quickly handed her to Remus, who hugged her tight to his chest. "Now, you tell me where she is or I will kill you right here, right now!" Draco said in a deathly low voice with his teeth gritted, wand now out of his pocket in his robes. Jake laughed. "You'll never get her now. Katie has probably killed her already." Jake said with a sly grin on his face. Draco shoved him away, almost hitting the floor. He ran to where the Slytherins usually sit with Sirius, Harry and Ron following behind him. He ran to a compartment wit the door shut. The anxiety filling him up made him knock on the door and then open it. He stared at the scene in front of him. The body of the girl he had loved since third year was lying on the ground unconcious with blood all over the floor. He looked up to see Katie looking at him with a mischievous smile on her face. Before she could register what was happening Ron stunned her. Sirius bent down to Abbe and tried to fix her up with tears running down his face. He muttered Vulnera Sanentur. This spell is used to heal large gashes such as the ones Sectumsempra causes. "Guys could you leave? I have to put bandages around her chest to make sure the spell works correctly." The boy's nodded and left the room before Sirius could yell at them to leave.
