Chapter 15
We got back to the hotel around 1 o' clock and Eli and I went to just chill on the couch. He laid with his back towards the back of the couch and I laid with my back on his chest. He had one arm wrapped around my waist and his other hand was intertwined with mine. "Eli, we have never talked about this but, do you know who your real parents are?" I asked him. I could feel him tense up and he squeezed my hand tight.
"I actually do and it kinda scares me." He said, shivering quite a bit. I turned around so that we were face to face. I kissed his lips softly and whispered, "Why does it scare you?"
"It's not the people who scare me it's kind of just the realization of knowing that we were siblings at one point." He said whispering the last part.
"What do you mean that we were siblings at one point? I have only been in two other families. The Wilson's and..." I said trailing off. I looked up at him with my mouth wide open.
"You mean that my used-to-be father and now godfather is your father?" I asked trying to figure out what was what in the situation. He nodded very slowly. I stared at him in shock. I slowly sat up and got off the couch.
"Where are you going?" He asked curiously. I looked back him with a sarcastic look on my face.
'Where do you think I am going?" I asked irritably. "We are going to see Remus and make sure that he knows you are his son." I said grabbing Eli's hand and pulling him up off the couch, just for him to fall on the ground.
"ELI! Get up!" I said trying to pull him up.
"Nooooooo!" He complained as he let me drag him across the room.
"HARRY! I NEED YOUR HELP." I yelled to Harry's room. Eli looked at me stunned and slowly got up. "Nevermind Harry!" I yelled again. I took Eli's hand in mine and gave it a reassuring squeeze. I dragged him towards the door and opened it and the door across the hall. Eli and I walked into the room where my parents, Remus, Sirius and Jaelyn were staying. We walked in to the room to see that Remus was sleeping on the couch with Jaelyn lying on top of him. He had an arm around her and was snoring softly.
"Oh well he's sleeping. Let's come back later." Eli said, starting to move back towards the door.
"Ohh no. You are not getting away that fast." I said pulling him back. I walked over to Remus with Eli in tow. I took Jaelyn off of his chest and put her on the chair next to him. I shook him lightly.
"Remus. Get Up" I said loudly. Loud enough to wake him but not Jaelyn. He opened his eyes and rubbed them sleepily. I he yawned and stretched as he sat up.
"Hi Abbe, Eli." He greeted us. I smiled and said hi and Eli just waved.
"Eli, don't you have something to say." I said pushing him forward towards Remus.
"Dad?" Eli whispered quietly, looking up at Remus as if he were a five year old who was in trouble.
"No!" Remus whispered. "You are." He said taking Eli into a hug.
"Mind if I join?" I said walking up to them.
"Not at all, sweetheart!" Remus said pulling me into the hug also. We stood there and hugged each other for 5 minutes before Eli let go. I slowly back away also. Eli looked kind of awkward in the situation, like he wanted to ask a question. I nudged him with my elbow, to indicate for him to ask it.
"If you wouldn't mind me asking but who is my mum?" He asked rubbing his arm with his hand. Remus sighed like he knew what he was going to ask. Tears came to his eyes as he remembered her.
