Carina's POV
I can see why Maya is mad at me but I just wanted to have a conversation with Arizona and I sent her out so she wouldn’t get mad and then not want Arizona to come to the wedding. I only invited her cause I wanted us to be friends but when I saw that she started to look at me the same way she used to when we were together I knew she still had feelings for me and I knew that's the reason she came back. So I wanted to talk to her but when she started saying all those things about Maya I started second guessing if I want to have her at my wedding.
“Maya Please can I explain to you why I sent you out” I tried talking to Maya but yet again she ignored me. After trying for a couple more minutes I decided to leave it at that. And the rest of the driver back home was silent.As we were reaching our house I noticed Maya wasn’t going the way to pull into the driveway. “Babe I only tried to talk to her to tell her that she has no chance with me cause I’m with you and I want you to be the person I call my wife please talk to me Bambina.” I tried one last time.
She didn’t say anything instead she pulled up in front of our house and said “I’m going to the station to help Travis with something I don’t if you will be up when I get back” I let out a sigh and looked at her “I know you are mad Maya and I want you to know that I wanted to spend time with you its just i figured out why she is really back and I told you to leave cause I didn’t want you to be mad.” I don’t want to go to bed knowing she is mad at me but she just keeps avoiding the conversation. “If you need anything, call me and I’ll come home.” Was all she said.
so I left it at that and got out of the car but without saying one thing I hoped she say back “I love you Maya” she was silent for a little when she let out a breath I didn’t even know she was holding and she looked at me and smiled “I love you too Carina now go inside and lock the doors I’ll be back soon” I was happy she said it back I knew she was still mad but I couldn’t do anything about it so I walked away and she waited till I was inside before she left.
Maya's POV
I could tell Carina thought I was mad at her but I wasn't. I just thought it was fun to see her try to get me to talk to her and yes I know it’s messed up but it’s not like I wasn’t gonna tell her. As much as I wanted to go to bed and cuddle with her Travis said there was a problem at the station and he tried to fix it but he couldn’t and he didn’t even tell me what it was.
Pulled into the station and saw two guys fighting so I parked and got out quickly. “What the hell is going on” I yelled making both guys stop and look at me “What are they fighting about” no one answered “Well Gibson would you like to explain why you are fighting with Ryan” I yelled at Jack “Because he thinks just cause him and Andy have been best friends since forever that they can be together.” Why on earth are they fighting about Andy? I asked myself.
“Jack, you know the rules about dating someone you work with so why do you even care.” I told him “well because I like her and I don’t want her to keep getting hurt by this jerk.” These guys are fighting over a girl and they don’t even know she doesn’t like them back but it's not my place. “Here’s what's gonna happen Ryan you leave and don’t tell Andy this and when we are on a call you stay away from Jack and same goes for you Gibson.”They both just nodded their heads and left and so did I.
