*same night*
Maya's POV
After dealing with those two stupid guys I went back home and I got in bed ready to fall alseep when I realized Carina wasn’t in the bed so I got up all scared and called her to see if she was in the bathroom “Carina baby where are you” I called for her and all I heard were her giggles so I got up and went to the living room and there she was lying down on the couch. “What are you doing, why are you lying down on the couch?” I asked her and she sat up “Well I was waiting for you.” was all she said then she stood up and walked away leaving me confused.
“Where are you going?” I asked her and she giggled more. “Well I was down her waiting for you to get home and now that you are home i'm going to bed” she said and started walking up the stairs and I was still in the living room standing there like an idiot before she yelled from the top of the stairs “You coming” and with that I ran up the stairs and into our room.
The next morning I woke up and saw a try with french toast, fruit coffee and a note and right away I knew it was from Carina. I grabbed the note to read it
Dear Maya,
Right now as I am writing this you are sleeping like a baby and I want you to have your beauty sleep cause you deserve it. Sorry iI had to leave so early but one of my patients are in labor so I had to go to the hospital so I made you some breakfast hope you enjoy I love you
love Carina ♡
Ugh I love that woman and I can’t wait till tomorrow because that's when we get married and then for the rest of our lives we can call each other wife. After I ate the breakfast she made me, I looked at the clock and saw I had an hour before the first shift started so I got up to get ready.
Carina's POV
I had just gotten out of a surgery and was on my way to an on-call room to take a small nap when I saw Arizona walking to me. “What are you doing here?” I asked her “I came to talk to you I need to talk to you” Ugh why can’t she just leave me alone. I grabbed her arm and pulled her into an on-call room. “Alright what do you want?” I said after closing the door “I want to apologize for what I said about Maya I didn’t mean it and when I found out you and Maya were getting married yeah I was mad and I hated myself for some stupid reason.” she said stopping before she continued.
“I really want to be your friend if you will have me” Was the last thing she said. “Fine I forgive you and you can come to the wedding tomorrow but please don’t have an attitude with Maya cause she won’t hesitate to kick your ass.” After that conversation I went home cause I had a short day today.
Maya was still at work so I decided to make her dinner so we can have a nice dinner and relax cause tomorrow is gonna be a very exciting day and I know it’s gonna be a long day but good long not bad. “Honey I’m home” I heard from the front door “Oooo What smells so good” she said walking into the kitchen and hugging me. After we ate we were lying in bed when I told her Arizona was gonna be at the wedding. “Why though?” Maya asked, “Bambina, she just wants to be friends and I promised that’s the only reason I invited her.” She sighed and turned me around so she could spoon me “fine but if she tried something ima kill her” she said and it made me laugh “OKay love you good night” I closed my eyes “night love you too” she kissed my shoulder and then we went to sleep.
