Arizona’s POV
*same night*
I went outside the bar to follow Callie. I called and called for her until she finally turned around and said “You fucked up Arizona, I thought you regretted everything you did and after everything we’ve been through but no” I realized I had fucked up the minute she asked if she was a rebound.
“you don't think that I know I fucked up of course I know but I never meant to hurt you Callie and I didn’t think it was a distraction or you being my rebound I just wanted to be with you and show Carina that I was over her but I didn’t mean to hurt you in any way and I do regret what I did to you and everything else” I said walking closer to her till I finally was in front of her and I grabbed her hands.
“I love you Callie and I want to be with you and I want to be with Sofia and what me and Carina had was amazing but what we had was something else and she is Married to someone else and she is four months or less away from having a baby with someone else.” I said looking her in the eyes. “How do I know you are over her? How do I know you aren’t just gonna leave me to try and be with her.” Callie asked “I don’t know exactly how to show you but I’m gonna prove it to you everyday for the rest of our lives” I said kissing Callie and hugging her.
*next day*
Maya’s POV
Today is the day we are finding out what we are having. And I am scared shitless because it didn’t seem real till now. “What are you thinking about Bella?” Carina said, breaking me out of my thoughts. “Just how real this all seems” I said looking at her. “What do you mean? You didn’t think this was real” Carina asked, getting confused.
“Well no I mean of course I know it’s real the phrase “It all seems real” is an idiom my love” I said laughing at her face after I said it was an idiom. “Of course it is and I hate idioms” She said rolling his eyes “ I know you do” I said leaning over to give her a kiss.
“Alright Andy what type of games are we playing?” Carina asked and Andy's face turned white and she froze. “I-i was worried about e-everything else I totally fo-forgot about th-the games oh my god Maya, Carina I am so sorry” Andy said, stuttering half of the words she said. Me and Carina just burst out laughing a couple of seconds later everyone else started laughing. “Wh-why is everyone laughing?” Andy asked, confused.
“Andy, it’s a gender reveal not a baby shower it’s totally fine if you don’t have games and besides I was just joking I didn’t think you thought I was being serious.” Carina said, still laughing. “How can I not think you were serious, you seemed serious and I don’t know the difference between you being sarcastic and you being serious” I said while looking all too serious herself.
“I told you my sister was scary and you called me a loser. Look, who is the loser now Herrera” Andrew said, laughing at Andy. “I never said she was scary. I said how could YOU not think she was serious when she seemed serious.” Andy said and her and Andrew went at it for about five minutes before Carina said something.
“Alright enough, are we gonna find out the gender of this baby or not?” She said and everyone gathered around two big black balloons that were floating in the hair. Why on earth are there two balloons I asked myself as me and Carina were standing in front of everybody. “Alright we are all gonna count and you guys are gonna pop the balloons. Carina pops the left and Maya popd the right.” Andy said, giving us a pin to pop them with.
“I have just one question before we start?” Carina asked “Why are there two balloons to pop?” Carina asked and Andy just looked at her with a smirk “There is a surprise in one of the balloons” Andy said and me and Carina just looked at her confused. “Why?” was all I said. “Don’t worry” Andy said. “OKay everyone on the count of five then pop the balloons.”Andy said and the group erupted in yay’s “Ready? 5,4,3,2,1” after one me and Carina popped the balloons but the color inside the balloon was confusing.
