RIYA KNEW what she had to do.

Right after getting wasted, she sped to her apartment.

"The world is ending on Monday." she said and sat down.

She didn't tell Dave about her past life... and now she knew she shouldn't cause of his future relationship with Klaus.

"What?" Chris asked.

"Where's Dave?" 

"He's sleeping in his uncles house. He's making him enlist early." Chris sighed.

"What? No!" she screamed, "he can't join! we can't let him join!" Riya rambled.

"How much did you drink? and what about the world ending?"

so she told him everything.

"Monday?" Chris asks and she nods.

"Everything ends?" he asks and she nods.

"This is a lot to process... but we are trying to prevent it..." Riya explains.

"I want to help."

"Hell no!" Riya shouts.

"Not your decision."

"I can't let you risk you're life!"

"And you can!?" Chris shouts.

"We brought it here! we have to stop it, this is not supposed to happen! and you are not playing with your life!" she shouted.

"You cannot-" the door opens which stops their fight.

"You two are really really loud." Dave said as he entered.

"I thought you were stayi-"

"Nah, I went to see the prophet dude I punched though..." 

"How was that?" Riya asked knowing very well it was Klaus.

"He... told me everything about my myself... I'm so confused... It's like he knew the future." Dave sat down next to Riya on the couch.

"How does he even know about me? and he told me not to enlist."

"Don't?" Riya blurted.

"You know this is important..." Dave sighed.

"You don't have to prove yourself! war... it's too much... Why go to war... when you can...?" She looked at Chris for help.

"Work in the store...?" Chris said.

"You can..." Riya started but couldn't come up with anything.

Meanwhile Ben was trying to possess Klaus...

"I hate to disappoint you, Benny boy, but you are not getting in this body. No way." Klaus told him... already sounding tired.

"Well, you're gonna have to fall asleep eventually." Ben blows Klaus a kiss.

"This is nothing. Once, in Rio, oh, I spent eight straight days up." Klaus boasted.

"Without chemical assistance?"

"Listen, the point is I'm not gonna let you win." Klaus mumbles falling asleep for a moment.

"God, I hate your face." Klaus jumps when he saw Ben sitting closer to him.

"I hate all of you." Ben spat.

"Please, just..." Klaus mumbles letting his eyes shut for a moment.

"It's okay. Fall asleep." Ben lulls him softly.

The clock chimes and Klaus gasps seeing Ben closer.

"Hey! Ben! Jesus Christ!" Klaus spilled whatever he was drinking, "Will you please...? Just, look, I'm going through a lot right now."

"You're always going through a lot." Ben whines.

"Ben-uhh!" Klaus whines too, " The love of my life is gonna die, and I can't stop it. I've tried every trick in the time-traveler's playbook. I told him I loved him. I told... I told him his future." 

"And the only thing you succeeded in doing
was freaking him out." 

"Oh, God, I hate this." Klaus mumbles, "Not being able to do anything. 

"Klaus, the way you feel right now is the way I feel every day." Ben starts,  All I do is watch you make the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over again. Welcome to powerlessness."

"Oh, my God. That must suck. I'm sorry." Klaus apologize.

"You wanna make it up to me?" Ben's eyes shine.

"No!"

"Come on, please!" Ben pleads.

"You cannot possess me."

"Just for a few minutes!" Ben begs.

"No. Why? What's so damn important?" Klaus asks.

Ari... I want to talk to her, it's been so long." he sighs.

"Okay." Klaus agrees and Ben smiles.

"But wait! We need to talk about ground rules."

second. february. two thousand one 

riya and ben had just found about about the powers... and hadn't talked to each other.

"this is crazy! the only friend we have here is also from the academy." tyler whispered to his sister.

"this is crazy!" riya repeated.

"you should talk to him." tyler urged.

"noooo." 

"what are we talking about?" marcus asked as he sat next to them.

"riya is in love with number six." tyler chuckled.

"what the fuck? no!" riya defended herself.

"what?" marcus laughed, "who will tell cole?" marcus chuckled knowing very well they were talking about ben.

"that is the grossest thing that has ever come out of your mouth you fool" riya gagged.

"what's the grossest thing that has ever come out of marcus' mouth?" sydney asked as she sat next to tyler.

"why doesn't anyone value personal space!?" riya whisper shouted.

"riya likes number six." marcus teased.

"who? klaus? ben?" sydney asked.

"ben." tyler and marcus said in unison.

"what are we whispering about?" harry joined.

"you know what?" riya started, "i'm leaving." 

"where is she going?" harry asked as he took riya's spot.

"she's going to profess her love." tyler chuckled and riya showed him her favourite finger.

she took a piece of paper and wrote something and sped towards ben.

she dropped the note near him and sped out of the room without anyone noticing.

"we need to talk. tell me where.
riya."

riya looked where ben went from afar and followed to what she assumed was his room.

"you're a raven!?" he whispered when she entered the room.

"you're an umbrella!" she whispered as ben closed the door.

"this is-"

"wow." riya completed.

"yeah."

"well, you're powers are awesome!" riya smiled as she sat on the bed.

"me? you are literally the fastest person alive." ben smiled.

"i did not see this coming though." ben laughed.
