"So, where are we going?" I ask Austin as we exit our building and make our way to his car. He opens the passenger side door for me and I slide in as I hold my dress down. I thank him with a nod and he looks down at me, standing with his arm resting on the open door.

"On a date," he chuckles. I roll my eyes as he closes the door and walks around to the driver's side, opening the door and getting in. "I want to take you to a nice dinner, the way you deserve."

"I think a pool hall is adequate," I tell him with a smile. "But I will not say no to being wined and dined."

"Then wined and dined it is," he smirks at me before pulling out of the parallel parking spot. I looked out the window as the apartment complex we both share got smaller and smaller.

Music began playing through the radio as Austin got on the road. I couldn't place the song but I was enjoying it. I tapped my hand to the beat on my bare knee as I looked out the window.

I looked back at the road and could see Austin glimpsing at me out of the corner of my eye. I looked at him and he still continued.

"I'm sorry, you just look really... wow, I mean," He said, stumbling over his words. "I just- you, yeah. You're beautiful."

"Thank you," I giggle at him with a blush plastered across my face. I look back out of the window and he begins to talk again.

"No, like unbelievably beautiful," he speaks softly; quieter this time. I shake my head and roll my eyes playfully at him as we cruise down the road.

Soon, we arrive at the restaurant and Austin surprisingly pulls into the valet section near the entrance. A man steps towards the car and opens my door, allowing me to step out. I look around at the entrance, everything in its particular place, garnished in gold.

Austin hands one of the men his keys and then extends his arm out for me. I wrap my arm around his and he smiles as we make our way towards the entrance of the grand establishment. I felt out of place here and especially underdressed. I took a deep breath and stepped through the door that Austin held for me.

"Reservation for Post," Austin says as he gets up to the podium that a woman dressed in all black stands behind. The host checks the computer and nods, grabbing two menus and stepping from behind her stand.

"Right this way, Mr. Post," she says eloquently and we follow her towards our table. Once we get to it, she sits the menus down in front of us and walks away with a smile.

"Austin, this place is gorgeous," I tell him as I look around. There's a fountain sitting in the middle of the restaurant that looks like a courtyard. It is beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking.

"Well, I thought I'd show out," he jokes with me as he picks up the menu. I do the same and about that time, the waiter comes up to us. Austin and I order some wine and an appetizer to share. As we wait, I decide to make small talk.

"So, those three questions you let me ask," I remind him and he nods, chuckling at me. "Could I maybe have three more?"

"Granted," he nods, waving his hand at me to proceed.

"What kind of music do you like? Specific artists?" I start with a simple one, just because I am simply curious.

"Really, that's what you're gonna ask me?" He adorningly laughs at me once more. "Does it matter?"

"Well, you're a musician, I just want to know what you like to listen to in your spare time. And don't say something obscure that I have never heard of," I tell him with a small smile as I cross my hands over my lap.

"I'm not an obscure music kind of guy, so you're in luck," he tells me as he shifts in his seat, adjusting his watch. "I listen to everything. Nirvana, Johnny Cash, Metallica, Taylor Swift. Just about anything."
