"How do I look?" I spun around as I walked out of my bedroom to Ricky and Alex who were sitting on the couch.
"Ooh, damn!" Alex yelled, looking me up and down. I had on a black spaghetti strap mini dress with lace on the bottom and on the neckline. "I feel like I may be a little underdressed now."
"Georgia!" Ricky stood up and walked around me, checking me out as I laughed. "I haven't seen you dressed like this in a long time."
"I found this little thing in the back of my closet from when I went out after Michael and I broke up," I told them. "She needs to see the light of day. Or neon at night. Whatever. Anyways, where are we going?"
"This club downtown called Sound Bar," Alex said, clapping his hands together. "Kinda laid back for Chicago."
"Sounds perfect," Ricky nodded, extending his elbow for me to take. "Shall we go?"
"We shall," I said, wrapping my arm around his. Alex did the same on the other side of me. For the first time in a long time, I felt like a bad bitch.

Yeah! by Usher started playing as I sat on a couch in the crowded club with Alex and Ricky who seemed to be hitting it off well. I sipped my drink and then got really excited.
"Ricky! This is my song!" I said, getting off of the couch and pulling his arm to get up. He laughed at me but got up. "Come on Alex!"
We all got up and made our way to the floor that had laser lights beaming down on it. I twerked on Alex as he slapped my butt playfully. Poor Ricky wasn't the best dancer but he had fun nonetheless.
"I seen shorty, she was checking up on me. From the game she was spitting in my ear, you would think that she know me," the music played as I danced, feeling super carefree. I need this.
Suddenly, I felt a pair of hands grab my hips, moving me with the beat. I looked behind me to see a guy with curly blonde hair towering over me. He gave me a smile and I decided, why not? He's good looking, there's no harm.
So I danced with him for the remainder of the song. When it went off, he introduced himself.
"I'm Colin," he smiled at me.
"Georgia!" I yelled over the music.
"Nice to meet you, Georgia," he said in a barely audible voice. "Can I buy you a drink?"
"Um, sure!" I shrugged. We walked over to the round bar that was in the middle of the club and each sat down on a stool.
"Michelob Ultra, and..." he paused and looked at me, waiting for me to give my drink order.
"Two," I said to the bartender who nodded at me.
"You like Mickeys?" He asked me as the beers were sat down in front of us.
"I like alcohol," I laughed, taking a sip from the brown bottle. "So, Colin, are you from here?"
"No, Milwaukee," he said, sitting his beer down on the glass countertop that wrapped around a huge selection of drinks. "A friend of mine just got a job here so we're celebrating."
"Nice! Glad to hear it," I nodded. "I've lived here my whole life. I own a bakery just down the-"
"Listen, I'm not really here for a conversation," he chuckled to me, cutting me off. Even though I knew what I was getting into with the clubbing scene, I was taken back. "So do you want to get out of here or what?"
"Thanks for the beer," I huffed, leaving it at the bar and walking away from him. Sure, I came here to find someone that I could take home but they have to at least have some human decency.
