Katherine's pov
I roll my eyes heading into my apartment. I pause hearing a pulse. It's not mine. There's two of them. I speed and take Butcher by the neck and I glare veins showing under my eyes "the fuck are you doing here Butcher?" He chokes and I roll my eyes tossing him to the side "speak" he pants "i need your help" I chuckle "you have some fucking nerve coming and asking me for anything."

"I'm getting the boys back together with a new addition" he says pointing to the male looking at us. He's young. "When you called the group the boys I didn't think you'd recruit a child" I huff. He says "we have a real shot this time love. We need your help" "fuck you." I snap. He reaches for me and I take his arm harshly "don't touch me" tossing it to his side.

"What will it take for you to come with kat" he asks. I reply "hell hasn't frozen over. And do not call me that William" "after everything we've been through...you won't give me a chance" he asks. I roll my eyes "after what you've done? I'd rather work for vought than do anything for you" he sighs "a train ran through hughie's girlfriend. We're trying to figure out where he was going and why. We have translucent" "seems like you have everything sorted out then. Go" I rely.

"We need you if we're going to go on. I need my partner in crime" he begs. "I stopped being that when you did what you did. Leave butcher I won't ask again" I snap. "You gonna let homelander get away with what he did to ya and many others. Ya gonna let vought get away with it?" He asks. "I'd rather do that than ever trust you again" I huff. Hughie speaks "please? My girlfriend Robin....she was innocent. She was one foot off the curb and he just ran through her. Vought tried to pay me off"

I turn to him "you should've taken the money. I wish I did" "don't be that way love" butcher says. "Get the fuck out or I'll make you get out" I huff. "I'm on vervain love" "that doesn't mean I can't force you the hell out of my house" I snap. "What happened?" He asks. "You happened butcher." I huff pouring a bloodbag into a cup sipping from it. "I don't deserve your help" he starts. "Glad we're on the same page" I say sarcastically.

"But Hughie and everyone else they wronged deserve their justice" he says. "That includes you love" he continues. "The only way I'll feel better or feel as though I got justice...Is if I never hear from you again" I tell him. "I know I fucked up" I scoff "if that's what you want to call it" "I'm sorry Kat. It's gonna be different this time round. You're gonna know everythin as I find it out." He promises. "The fact that you think the secrets is the only thing I'm upset about is exactly why I'm not going back" I huff.

"I know why you hate me Kat. And I'm sorry. So fuckin sorry. I wouldn't ask ya if I wasn't sure we can get em this time. Id have left ya alone for good" he tells me. "You don't work with supes. You made that abundantly clear" I huff. "You're the only exception love. We need ya. Please Kat. Ya know I ain't the beggin type" he tells me. "Stay away from me as much as possible" I mutter "that's gonna be impossible considering you're to know every and anything I find out love" he points out.

"Touch me and I'll cut your throat." I warn and he nods "scouts honor"
