Katherine's pov
Here we are on a boat. Yup a boat. I watch butcher leave to go get Hughie. I listen to them talk. It's not like I can block it out anyway. He apologizes awkwardly for hitting him. I speed over hearing Hughie hit him. I choke him against the wall glaring "I'll fucking kill you. Touch him again I dare you" "let him go Kat. Cmon" MM says and I glare his way. I drop the kid and storm away.

Butchers phone rings and he says "what's the ETA?" Mallory says "a teams on the way. They'll be there in a few hours" as we walk inside the boat. "A few hours?" He asks and she replies "I'm a civilian I can't just push a button anymore. The targets secure? No ones seen him?"

He snaps "three fuckin miles off shore what do you think?" Wrapping his arm around me as we're outside now, keeping me close. "I think that if theres a way for you to screw this up, you'll find it." He replies "look...I just want my wife to get her justice and the cure she wants." She replies "I know. Bring Langley the terrorist and we'll get you closer than ever to having that. Especially that cute. Hey you ever hear of an old supe called liberty?" What?

"Fucks that gotta do with anything?" Butcher asks. "I'm not sure yet. How's your crew holding up?" He says we're all good and having laughs. Though we're not. I'm not talking to Frenchie or MM much if at all. And they're trying. Hughie gets on my nerves. "The target is the girls brother?" She questions. He shrugs just holding me as I curl into him "yeah so?" "You don't think that compromises her allegiance?" She asks. And he replies looking at me "well if it comes to that. I'll neutralize her."

I nod knowing it'll be needed if kimiko gets in the way of this. "The compassion you show your team is truly touching." He hangs up and he cups my face and kisses me softly "we're gonna get this. And we're gonna rid of vought and homelander. And just disappear. We're gonna have that life we always wanted love" I smile "really?" He nods "yeah. Gonna have that picket fence and garden ya always wanted and maybe a kid or two" I reply "what else?" "Well gotta get our names cleared. Gonna get a redo of seein ya in a white dress walking down the isle to me. Gonna raise our kids to be amazing just bein normal. You're gonna run a art studio like ya always wanted, but couldn't because life being a load of shit. It's gonna be perfect love"

"I can't wait" I mutter to him and he kisses my head and we turn around and I'm not surprised to see Frenchie and Butcher tells him "just a figure of speech mate" talking about neutralizing kimiko. She comes down and gives us a look and she nods to me and walks passed. "Katherine" he says to me and I huff turning back to stare at the sea. He sighs sadly and walks away. I pause hearing a tv out the heroes for being made in a lab. I speed over and see it. Holy shit. Hughie is on the phone.

MM comes in and sees. I say "turns out you're good for something." My husband comes in "you two touching your tips" I roll my eyes and I say "look" he sees it and kisses me "nice one" MM says "that's all you got? We've been trying to do this for years and the kid did it and all you've got is nice one?" I turn to them "real nice one" Hughie says "you can't even give me this can you? Not one god damn win" directed at me. Butcher directs them to the mission at hand. We have a supe terrorist below deck. And shit can go sideways. I add "it's a break through but knowing how people suck supes dicks, and how vought can cover everything up....what's being said on tv isn't going to do much for long. But uh...here's your pat on the back you wanted so bad" patting hughies back.

I hear Frenchie and Mm say "don't worry about her and him." "Yeah fuck them you did great" butcher stops me from going in there and exploding on them "don't love. If they can't see how or why you're bothered and hurting, they don't bloody deserve ya"

I nod and listen to kimiko's brother talk to Frenchie. He wants to learn the way she communicates. I pause hearing a can break. Fucking idiots. I stand and butcher Asks "what's going on?" I shake my head and speed into the room. I hear helicopters over head as well...fuck. They announce that butcher and I stole the boat. I'm kicked across the room and I run after him. I speed over and push butcher and MM out of the way as he sends an anchor toward them. Kimiko grabs at him but he sends the helicopter flying. Butcher says "time to go!" "We have to help them! Katherine you have to help them" Hughie says. I shake my head "they're already dead."
