Katherine's pov
We clean up the body and I note that the kid is still in shock. I tell him "take your clothes off. Gotta burn them" he does and we burn them and rid of translucent. "Knew you could do it love" my ex husband says patting my shoulder. I snap "don't touch me" he says "you're with me to get MM" I roll my eyes and get in the car. "Love we can't work like this" "what do you want from me Billy? Huh? I'm here in the group again despite what you've done. What do you want?" I snap.

"I want ya. I just want ya. I don't want ya hatin me and wedging between what this is" he sighs. "Then you should've left me the fuck alone Billy." I huff and he says "can ya act like ya don't hate me for two seconds?" "Considering the fact that I do....no" I reply. I don't hate him. I'm still just hurt about the fact that he hated me so much, hated what I became so much. That he turned his back and left me with nothing but divorce papers. "You don't mean that" he tells me. "What if I do?" I question.

"Then I'd have to make ya not hate me" he replies. "Good luck with that one" I mutter. I ask "why did you do it? If you claim to care so much about me...why?" He shakes his head "don't worry about it" I scoff "of course." Getting out the car as he stops it. I walk in ignoring the men and I find MM. "marvinnnn!" I greet and he rolls his eyes with a smile "the hell are you doin here?" Stepping into the office giving me a hug.

Billy comes in and starts talking about the plan "you cool with this?" MM asks me. I shrug "it's not what I'd rather be doing. But it seems like we have a chance this time" "you sure you wanna chance it again Katherine? After what vought's done to you. For us? For butcher? You're here again with him for history to repeat itself?" He says worry in his voice. "M I can take care of myself. What happened to me is exactly why I'm here" I say. I want to take down vought and see if they have a cure. I don't want to be this way anymore.

I tell him "we're going to need you" his only condition is that Frenchie isn't there. Of course Billy lies. It's all he knows how to do. We get to where we need to be looking after A trains girlfriend. MM isn't happy. We send Hughie and MM in to bug the place. I say "you know I can hear everything right?" Hughie asks "what can you do?" As butcher says "we need it recorded" "fast, strong, mind control, other shit" I list. Hughie asks "mind control?" I look at him and compel him "jump on one leg until I say stop" he does and I say "stop" he says "what?" "It's a neat trick" I reply and they leave. Frenchie asks "what happened between you two? Last I saw you two were in love" "that was before I turned. He decided I wasn't worth shit and left me with divorce papers" I huff and butcher says "that's what you think? That I think ya weren't worth anythin?" "You hate supes. It's not a fucking secret Billy. Then I became one, I was counting down the days until you left and you did." I snap.

"I hate the fuckin supes but you ain't one of em. Not to me." He sighs. I snap "then why?!" He doesn't get to answer because the others come in. We watch pop claw and a train. They talk about compound V. She points out that the last time he used it he killed Robin. Hughies girlfriend. They get into an argument and he leaves.

I heard of compound v before...when they changed me. I'd need to see it to be sure if it's what they used on me. "What is it love?" Billy asks. "Nothing" I shake my head and say "I'll be back" "where are ya goin we just found out he was hyped up on drugs" he asks. I shake my head "I'll be back" walking out and I sigh.

Butchers pov
I sigh watching her go "watch this. I'll be back" MM asks "you sure she doesn't want space from you?" I roll my eyes "there's something up with her" walking out. I choose a direction and eventually find her on a bench "ya know that despite everythin ya can still talk to me love?" "Why would I? It's not like you talked to me before you decided to abandon me and our relationship" she huffs. I tell her "and I should have. I'm sorry about that Darlin. I was a cunt. But I'm worried about ya. What's goin on?" She says "when I was taken...I was injected with something and it made me what I am now. This revelation of compound v. Makes me think that that's what it was. I'm not sure" what?

"We'll figure it out together" I tell her touching her hand. "You never answered my question" she sighs. I sigh "do you think I don't love ya anymore?" Wanting to know. "You proved that you don't. Why'd you leave Billy? Was there someone else?" What? I shake my head "you think I'd cheat on ya?" "What happened, if there wasn't another woman and you don't hate me because I'm a supe now" she questions. "It wasn't anythin ya did. It was me-" she scoffs "really? It's not you it's me? What are we? In some sort of movie?" "It's the truth love. You turned this way because of me! I caused this change in your life. My actions caused ya pain. And I couldn't take it. You'd tell me that ya don't blame me but I did. And it only got worse the more I saw ya have to drink blood with that disgusted look on ya face that ya used to have. I love you. So knowing you chose to protect me over your own life makes me hate myself....I couldn't let ya do it again so I left even though all I wanted was to stay" I tell her. She tells me "you should've told me, communicated. Not file for divorce and leave me with nothing. Without you I have nothing. You were my family. And you were all I had left. And you left" I nod "I know. I thought about coming back to you but I didn't think ya wanted me in ya life anymore love" "you broke me" she tells me leaving. I follow her "let me fix this" "there's nothing to fix. You made sure of that when you signed those papers and left me with them" she replies. I take her hand "please love...just let me make this right. Work on getting ya trust back...anything....I'll do it" I beg. "No promises" she tells me and we head back.
