Chapter 53: Vexed

Jia runs away to who knows where. Yoongi went pale, and he was fuming mad. He couldn't believe what had happened. 

"Bullshit!" Yoongi kicked the back of his car in outrage. 

The guys were even more clueless about what was happening. Tae recovered with Andrya. He assisted her even when he was also hurt by the impact of them falling down. Jimin, JK, and Jin helped dust the two while Joon and Hobi had to look after their hyung. 

Minutes later, Yoongi calmed down, but he turned his way to Andrya. He stood in front of the lady, surrounded by the guys, and held the lady's arms. 

"Yah! Yoongi!" Jin shouted. 

"Hyung!" the rest of the guys were also scared. 

Everyone was startled when he grabbed Alexandrya like he would hurt her. 

"Tell me the truth, right now," Yoongi commanded the lady. "Please, Alex. Tell me the truth!" Yoongi started to sound like he was begging.

"AJ, please. Tell me it was all wrong!" Yoongi was in denial about what he felt. "Shortney, jebal! Tell me you sue her by mistake," everyone was listening to Yoongi pleading. 

They were even stunned that he began to call the attorney names they weren't even familiar with. Alexandrya, on the other hand, was also surprised that Yoongi called her the way he used to call the lady. 

Alexandrya understood the guy's pain. She didn't even feel that Yoongi's grip tightened. He looks helpless and betrayed for Alex, and she pities him. And she knew it was the worst pain ever. 

"Hyung, jebal. Don't hurt her," Joon had to step in because he was so scared that something would happen to the lawyer. 

"Alexandrya, jebal! I'm begging you, jigeum. Tell me what I don't know," Yoongi's frustration was heard in his voice. They felt like he was desperate to know the truth. 

"I don't think you are ready to do that," as calm as possible, Alexandrya told Yoongi. 

"Don't decide for me, Alex. Please. I can take it this time. Just tell me. Please. Right here, right now," Yoongi insisted. He was persistent.

If Alexandrya was anxious, the guys were even more nervous. 

"I am sorry, but she stole that piece you guys have been working on for months," Alexandrya, without doubt, told it straightforwardly. 

Alex heard gasps from the guys. Nobody believed that she could get to that worst point. Betraying Yoongi all over again. 

"The time you mentioned that you somehow lost one of your storage devices," Alexandrya began to enlighten Yoongi as everyone listened attentively. "We have to check on the security cameras, and you only had one person who entered your studio that week. She became a suspect and the only suspect whom we knew unless you misplaced it," Andrya explained. 

Alexandrya began to clarify more. "I also wanted it that way. Because it will be better for us if you misplace your storage device, but this..." 

Alexandrya opened her phone and showed screenshots of the timestamps of Jia going out of Yoongi's room agitated. Then at one angle, it was established in the camera that she had put the flash drive in her car keys as a keychain.
