Chapter 59: One day

Mino did not make me sleep after telling me a ridiculous thing about Yoongi. 

The thing is that he also keeps on reminding me, telling me that the guy would come to find me to tell me about it sooner or later.

And I'm not too fond of that about him. Mino is really a swine for making me anxious every day.

Why am I anxious?

Is it because of the ridiculous possibility?

Is it because I was hoping to?

Well, that's so funny.

It's not even going to happen.

Mino didn't stop reminding me about it. It became a week, a month, to months, to years. It was funny because it had been so long that I couldn't track the time, and he still didn't stop. 

"Happy birthday, attorney!" This mofo actually came. He even had this weird look on his face again. "Wait for it. He will greet you," See, even on my most special day, he had the guts to tell me about it. 

I shook my head and laughed at it. "Don't ruin my birthday, Mino! I needed a bribe to be in a good mood now," I told him.

If Mino didn't bring me any special gift, I would seriously throw him out of my house. However, he took me by surprise.

"Your wish is my command," he handed me the orange paper bag.

"Holy mother of Hermes!" I cursed out loud. 

"Mama AJ, your mouth," I slapped my mouth immediately when Shielo looked at me in shock. I cursed in front of the twins.

Shielo is my best friend's daughter. She is indeed like her oh my god, I actually could not figure out who. I think it's her vigorous dad. No, I felt like she is Yanika, her mom.

NVM. Nevermind

I know her twin brother, Seraph, is more Yanika. He doesn't talk much but is a keen observer like his mom.

Back to the topic.

When will Mino stop telling me about it? I am not sure, but what I am sure about is that I haven't seen him in a while.

Two years??

Though I have seen the other boys as we often call each other. I received a message from them yesterday because it's my birthday. 

I celebrated my birthday peacefully. No extravagant things, just me and my family in the house, although I received extravagant items from my people, friends, and family. 

Getting older hits hard, especially seeing how people grow in different ways. Yanika changed. She became the mother of these beautiful twins. The twins also grew up so well. Night does change, and it is amazing how fast it does. 

I continued my profession here while still being a consultant of PDnim. Of course, my responsibilities with the company would not change. I will still be the one who will manage the chains of The Holly Grand Hotels. I will have to juggle things. Luckily, I can the past years. 

It has been an amazingly busy year. 

I am thankful for the jobs that I have and the money that I was able to make. I haven't been traveling, but maybe I will rest and enjoy this upcoming year, resting and enjoying my life. 

Let's get lowkey this time. I have been a workaholic. And it's annoying that my brothers and cousins tell me to use my money for something more meaningful - like adding value to the chapters of my life. They suggest I travel alone and feed my soul.
