Chapter 39: Fleeting

Months had passed after the issue, the adversary facing a current crisis because they were now under investigation. They also paid damages to the company, BTS, and their parents. And to the point where the CEO has to go and personally apologize to everyone and beg them to withdraw the case because it will cause a significant impact on the whole company.

Because they saw the regret from the CEO, that's why they also felt pity for him. Still, he has been warned by Andrya that if there is another false news, she will no longer have second thoughts about it. The case will immediately proceed to a lawsuit. The boys agree, too, because of their humbleness. The personal apology from the CEO is everything for them though it wasn't actually his fault. He also fired the writer of the article, which shocked them.

Andrya has been busy, just like the boys, for the past few days. As usual, the lady's table is full of piled papers to be reviewed and signed by her. She has also been praised and acknowledged for her toughness and for protecting the company, which she just smiled at them and told them, "It's my job."

Receiving a lot of compliments from different people, from the board, and making an impression on the public because she made it possible for the CEO of that channel to make a public and personal apology.

She's been continuing to shock everyone with her charm and wittiness. A nerd but not a nerd? They said.

She also received gifts and personal thank you from BTS' family and BTS themselves. She just can't take that it significantly impacts their lives. It was her job, as she said but didn't oppose it. It's a good thought that she's doing good in her career.

Namjoon's POV

Everything went smoothly after the issue. We went back to our usual busy life, and now we're here at the studio again planning for the following songs we'll be creating.

I went to the producer's studio where the others were. Upon opening the door, I heard a mighty voice from the stereo. I'm pretty sure it's not one of the female producers of the company, pretty sure of it.

It's beautiful.

"Wow!" They all exclaimed upon the voice reaching the high notes effortlessly.

"Goosebumps," Jimin and Jungkook exclaimed.

I got chills too. It crawled from my left hand going to my right.

"Who was that? Is she a foreign artist? Did she record it here?" Jin hyung asked the producers in all curiousness like the others.

"Someone. It was just a warm-up song, but it was good to hear. That's why we recorded it," One of the producers answered.

"So who was it then? I think we need her voice," Suga hyung told them.

"Confidential. She's anonymous and doesn't want to expose her identity," Xander hyung earnestly told us.

We didn't ask any further. The producers stopped the music, and we proceeded to our meeting. Xander hyung let us hear one demo song.

"Damn! That was perfection," I exclaimed after hearing it. It was a song we've been working with Suga hyung and Xander hyung. There was a revision, and it sounded even better.

I don't know why it does sound so familiar to me. Xander hyung doesn't want to spoil the voice owner since she was off the record. Her voice was the one that suits Yoongi hyung and my preference.

"I know right," Xander hyung said in confidence.

"She sounded so professional in singing. It was good. Does she want a collaboration?" Suga hyung asked Xander hyung.
