Alexandrya keeps on working even when she constantly gets threats after intimidating a company. Andrya knew that she won't get a threat from the company because it would be obvious, and they already calculated how dangerous the lady was because of the board meeting. She already knew where the letters were coming from, and she took it very lightly. She wasn't afraid of the girl, and there was nothing to be scared of, a girl who could only threaten her through letters.
Andrya constantly goes to work with a smile on her face. She went to her office expecting a threatening package again, but she didn't receive any today.
"You're smiling," Jeya, her secretary, saw it when she entered the room.
"I didn't get any death threats today," Andrya was happy to tell her the news. But her smile dropped when she saw Jeya gulping and frightened look. Andrya's eyes went to the box her secretary was holding.
She could only sigh in disbelief. She wasn't frightened, but she was just annoyed that it was becoming a disturbance to her work. And it scared Jeya so much that it always made her cry because she thought her boss was now unsafe anywhere.
Jeya's eyes were becoming teary because last week, it was constant. The past few days, she had been receiving threats.
And each day last week, Jeya received a package for the lawyer and knew it contained threats. But she never saw the lawyer open them in front of her because she was worried about how she would react. Alexandrya was alarmed by how Jeya had responded the past weeks.
So she ensured she wouldn't open packages when Jeya was inside her office because she would just make a fuss to report it.
"You may take your leave, Je." With a smile on her face, Andrya decreed.
"I won't this time," Jeya stayed still. She kept herself firm even when she was afraid to see it would be a death threat again. She wanted to be there for her boss. "I will stay with you, attorney. I will," Jeya declared.
Andrya saw the determination on her secretary's face. She's frightened but appreciates Jeya's effort in making her feel safe at those moments.
Andrya inhaled some air and took the box that Jeya put in her table. She smiled at Jeya. And also tried to angle the box and move it to where Jeya couldn't get a glimpse of what was inside.
Andrya slowly opened it. Her jaw dropped when she saw what was inside. But her tears fell the moment she read the card.
"Let me throw that! I am going to make that person bald once I have proof that it was her sending you these boxes!!" Jeya was fuming mad. She grabbed the box out of Andrya's hands and was about to destroy them when she saw what was inside.
"Tulips?"
Her mouth was agape and made her to tears. But because she was happy.
"Finally, a nice box that you fucking deserve all this time," Jeya said and looked at the lawyer, who was still emotional.
Jeya wanted to give her a moment to appreciate the gift. She put the box back on her table, went outside the lady's room, and returned to her table.
"Why are you crying? Did she receive threats again?" his brows almost meeting each other in madness. He was fuming mad.
Yoongi went to work that morning with a good feeling. He felt light, like a thorn in his throat was finally out. He walked to the elevator and waited persistently. He was smiling stupidly until it opened to their floor. He was just relieved because he was alone.
