Chapter 58: Nope

"No. 'Cause, attorney, I know you better than you know yourself," it was funny to hear. "And I seriously think that you are love deprived. So come here and let me hug you," he just pulled my arms towards him and hugged me as tight as possible.

I didn't budge, and I felt his initiative. My hands went over his back, and hugged him too.

I guess I needed this. And am I now admitting that I needed the hug?

"I told you. You needed the hug," he insisted and laughed.

"Yeah. Yeah. You were right. I am maybe love deprived," I said, emphasizing that I might still not consider his suppositions that I am love deprived.

He pulled me towards his car because he had just picked me up from work, and we were at the parking area right now. "Whatever you say, Miss Attorney. Come on, let's go on a date," he pushed me in the passenger's seat and ran towards the driver's after.

He brought me to a fancy restaurant. "For what name, sir?" The attendant asked.

"For Mino Adamson," he humbly answered.

"Oh, for the attorneys," the one wearing a manager's uniform said and even assisted us to our seats. Mino reserved a table on the balcony too. I think this was one of his clients.

My brows furrowed a little because of the sunlight. "Woah! When did you become a gentleman?" I teased him when he put his hand over my head to cover the little sunrays that hit my face.

I was okay with it anyway because it was a little cloudy. The heat wasn't burning because of the cold breeze too.

"You have been gone for over a year, yet you still think I wasn't a gentleman. Is that how South Korea teaches you, huh, little missy?" I scowled at him for that.

But he was, again, a gentleman. He pulled the chair for me. I sat and then waited for him to settle.
