Chapter 5

I changed the time when the Hokage finds Naruto with his magic ball.

Naruto was no where to be found. Y/n looked everywhere she could think of. His apartment was full of empty ramen cups. He hadn't visit Ichiraku ramen the whole day which was alarming. What triggered her worries were the whisper from the other ninjas.

Annoyed that no one dared to tell them right to her face, she shoved the first that came her way into the nearby wall.

'How can this guy call himself a ninja?' He was obviously a ninja and  older then her, but was trembling in her grip. " Do you know where Naruto is?" She managed not to voice her question to threatening and kept her kunai  loosely at his throat. He looked like he was going to piss his pants if she did something more aggressive.

"Th-the Hokage said the dem.." she glared at him. "N-N-Naruto had stolen an important scroll." Her jaw dropped.

"WHAT!?" The guy stumbled into the ground. 'What is this dude's problem?' The whole thing sounded like a lot of bullshit. Her head was starting to ache. 'He said Hokage!?'

With a fast sprint, she decided it was better to get to a reliable source than waste her time with someone she didn’t trust. 'If this is just a lie I am going to punch somebody.'

Without much of an ceremony Y/n entered from the window. "...nobody is allowed to talk about the fact that you are the nine tailed demon fox." Her eyes were wide, glued to the Hokage's crystal ball. Her breath hitched. That was Misuki's voice. The ball showed Naruto's shock face. Her ears were ringing. Naruto didn't deserve to know it this way.

"Tell me where they are NOW!" She never raised her voice. Especially in front of people she respects, but Naruto needed her, needed a little comfort, needed to hear who he really was. The Hokage didn’t respond. The chase had started. "Please!" This time she begged. Something she avoided doing.

"Iruka is there. Let's see how he handle this." She didn't know if Iruka-sensei could handle this. Y/n didn't know how strong Misuki was either, but by the reaction he had to her bloodlust she could handle him.

"I know, but I can help." He had seen her train, knew her abilities. " I can sneak around and get Naruto together with the scroll back to safety." The Hokage shook his head.

She felt helpless. Even if she used her sensory skill, she couldn't cover a large space as Headen Leaf Village was. The crystal ball showed Iruka on top of Naruto, a big shuriken pierced his back. She felt her heart hurt at the sight.

"Naruto you also must have been in a lot of pain.." Y/n did know about Iruka-sensei being an orphan. He had told her himself when her father died. Naruto, Iruka and Y/n shared that absence in their lives.
"I am sorry Naruto. If I only did  a better job.." Y/n clenched her jaw. Her hands were on tight fists. She was trying so hard to keep her emotions on check. ".. you would have felt like this." She wanted to yell at him. 'What could he possibly do more.'

Naruto run. Y/n didn't feel like watching anymore. She was being to emotional today with good reason. Naruto was important to her. If she lost him she wouldn't care for anything anymore.

Her back leaned to the wall. She couldn't leave. If the Hokage gave someone the order she was going to follow. If he ordered her to go, she will tear Mizuki to pieces.
