After your less than friendly interaction with Lizzie (more of a hostile confrontation) regarding your current situation and circumstances, you made your way towards the usual meeting spot for your gang's activities, expecting a hostile reaction from J.C regarding Tyrone's situation. Usually you would fear the anger of the gang's leader but, emboldened by your anger, whether it be brave or stupid, you marched your way there with intent on making it clear to J.C, and the rest of the gang for that matter, that you weren't going to be pushed around anymore.
Your arrival at the meet up spot was received as well as you expected; you found yourself slammed up against the wall with a neutral expression on your face as J.C glared at you, the other members of the group backing up as they wanted no part of what they expected was to be bloodshed. Of course, J.C was the one to talk first, his voice a low and venom filled hiss about you having some guts to show your face.
"Ty is currently in a jail cell for harassment and assault while you get to walk after everything you've done? What a load of shit!" He spat but you calmly replied that Tyrone got what he deserved, that he should have known his place from the very beginning and not attempt to antagonise you. "Not to mention he spent the later hours of the weekend harassing someone for no other reason than to provoke me, just because he knows I have boundaries!" You spat which made J.C narrow his eyes as he said for you to watch your tone unless you want another "lesson".
You didn't flinch at his voice, usually you would but not today, you had enough built up frustration to embolden you through an entire beating. "I'm not scared of you, J.C, I'm done being scared so if you want to beat me up then get it over with, Tyrone got what he deserved because he didn't have boundaries; he harassed a kid one day, did you know that?" You asked as J.C kept his eyes narrowed.
"What are you talking about?" He questioned and so you recounted the day you and to tell Tyrone to back off from harassing a child. "Had the poor kid cornered, demanded money off him, Tyrone threatened a child, harassed someone undeserving and you expect me to hold back? No, that piece of shit got what he deserved and I don't care if he's your brother, I'd beat him up any day of the week because he didn't respect any boundaries!" You spat with J.C scoffing and asking what boundaries you had as you were no saint when it came to crimes.
"I know that, in spite of what someone says, I'm not a good person but at least I had boundaries; no harassing kids and no hurting anyone who doesn't deserve it, Tyrone didn't respect those boundaries and that's why I don't respect him, I'm loyal to this group but not to him, especially because of the fact that his testing of my patience has resulted in me being homeless" you replied calmly as J.C kept his eyes narrowed before letting go of you and stepping back. You remained ready for if he went to attack but he didn't, instead just turning around as he said that you had best prove what you just said weren't merely wasted breath.
You watched as J.C went and pulled out a box from his bag before turning to you. "If you're so loyal to this group, as you say and as I always thought, then you'll have no issue with this job, I did have it in mind for you after all" he said as he turned back to you, a grin on his face as he opened the box to show there was a gun inside as well as a mask.
You looked between the contents of the box and then back to J.C, telling him you wanted nothing to do with a gun but he laughed. "Oh I think you will; you remember that shop you got banned from recently? Well for this job, you're going to rob it" he said and you asked why you would do that which made J.C laugh. "You just said you're homeless didn't you? I was originally going to have you rob the place and give us the money but if you pull it off, no issues, I'll let you keep the lot" he said and you looked away. You were in need of money but this wasn't the right way to go about getting it. Besides, this would go against your boundaries.

Not Set In Stone
