Once Present Mic announced the match to start, Midoriya fired fireballs. Shinso dodged every projectile. But he was immediately hit by a Muay Thai flying knee strike from Midoriya. Shinso threw a cross punch, but Midoriya countered with an Aikido Kaiten Nage. The indigo-haired man got thrown to the floor but quickly got up.
However, Shinso got hit by a Lethwei thrusting headbutt from his opponent. Midoriya landed a Boxing jab/ cross/ hook/ and uppercut. The blows landed at the indigo-haired man's face and torso. Then, Midoriya hit a Kickboxing front kick to his opponent's chest. Shinso dodged an incoming Hapkido spinning heel kick that grazed his head.
"Wow, Midoriya's not giving Shinso a chance to breathe!" Present Mic commentated. Shinso realized he'd lose if this kept up. So he decided to play his ace card again. "Why are you trying so hard? Did I make you upset?" Shinso questioned. He dodged Midoriya's Northern Shaolin Tenshi Ryusentai.
"Was it because of what happened to that monkey and black-hair girl from your class?" Shinso continued. Midoriya hit him with a traditional Jujitsu upward and hook elbow strike. "A shame that the pro heroes won't scout them. Unless that black-hair chick uses that body of hers." Shinso stated. Midoriya was angered by Shinso insulting his classmates, especially Yaoyorozu. "The hell did you just-" Midoriya responded.
Midoriya fell into Shinso's Quirk as his eyes became blank. "I win. Now turn around and walk out of the ring." Shinso smirked. Midoriya turned around and began to walk. "Oh no! Will Midoriya lose as Yaoyorozu did?!" Present Mic exclaimed. Outside the stadium, Fubuki and D.Va tried to calm down an angered Tatsumaki.
"Izuku, I swear you'll get a painful lesson from me if you lose like this!" Tatsumaki exclaimed. Genji and Mercy aided in trying to calm down the older Esper. "Izuku, snap out of it!" Yaoyorozu pleaded. "Yeah, you're better than this!" Uraraka added.
"Goddammit! I need to snap out of this! I made a promise to Momo and Uraraka! And I'm intent on keeping it!" Midoriya mentally exclaimed. Suddenly, Midoriya saw eight shadowy figures in the tunnel before him. He felt a surge of power flowing through his body. Then his left arm glowed with red/pink lines appearing. "Move!" Midoriya mentally commanded.
