Chapter 6: Pride vs Diligence

        The mock battle between Team A, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Team D, Bakugou, and Iida continued. Midoriya landed some punches and kicks to his opponent's face, chest, and sides. Bakugou was pushed back with an uppercut to the chin, making him stagger back. Midoriya then took out his collapsible baton and charged towards Bakugou. However, Bakugou would propel himself to the side to avoid it.

        Then aimed an explosion at his opponent, moisture in his palms growing hot, but Midoriya leapt back before the explosive teen could fire. The green-haired teen then dashed in the opposite direction of the seething blonde.

        "Damn it! Get back here, Deku!" Bakugou screeched as he bolted after him

        After a game of cat and mouse, Bakugou grew impatient. "Where are you, Deku?! Come out and fight like a real man!" He shouted.

        "Over here!" Bakugou turned his head to the voice, but Bakugou was hit in the stomach as he did. The cause being a knee kick from Midoriya with ten percent of One for All powering it. The attack sent Bakugou crashing down and landed on his back on the floor.

        "You damn nerd! You got lucky with that cheap shot!" Bakugou angrily said as he slowly got up.

        Midoriya was careful as he hopped from one foot to the other, channeling ten percent of One for All throughout his body. A dense thin heat was pouring into his veins, steam rolling off his costume before igniting into an arch of lightning. Which crackled and twisted around his form. He then immediately appeared in front of his opponent. Bakugou tried to cross his arms to defend himself but was caught off guard as he was struck in the abdomen by Midoriya's baton.

        The ash blonde-haired teen fell to his knees, coughing and hacking, a sharp wheeze pouring out. Midoriya then used this opportunity he had created to run once more with Bakugou chasing after him.

        Meanwhile, with Uraraka, she was on the fifth floor of the building and peaked from a corner. "Found it." She thought as Uraraka saw Iida guarding the nuclear bomb. "Now, I just have to call Deku-kun and hide until he arrives to help him." But before she could call Midoriya, Uraraka heard Iida talking. She peaked around the corner again to see what he was talking about.

        "Bakugou is natural at being bad, but it fits the exercise perfectly. Then, I must also devote myself to villainy. That's right; this is another trial for me to become a man who won't bring shame to the Iida family!" Iida stated.

        "Become a villain! Be dyed with evil to become a hero! I am...extremely evil!" Iida said in an overdramatic cliché villain voice.

        Uraraka did her best not to laugh..but laughed anyway as she saw what happened in front of her. "He's taking this too seriously!" She mentally said as she laughed.

        However, her laugh was heard by Iida. "Is that you, Uraraka?" Still in his villain's voice.

        "Oh no, I blew my cover!" Uraraka thought to herself, unable to hide the snicker that leaked out. Knowing her cover was blown, Uraraka came out of her hiding spot.

        "I knew you came here alone the instant Bakugou ran off by himself. Your Quirk allows you to make anything you touch float. That's why I put everything on this floor away before your arrival! Now you cannot play any of your tricks! You have blundered, hero!" Iida said as he cackled madly.
