Melissa's POV
The next morning I found Ash crying in our bathroom because she couldn't sleep last night. I woke up at 5 and spent till 7 trying to calm her down. They were just getting worse and I had to take my 19 year old daughters phone for the sake of her mental health.
Melissa- You get some sleep hun
She finally fell asleep on the couch and I heard someone walk down.
Sweet Pea- Hey
Melissa- She was up all night. It keeps getting worse what are we can do
Sweet Pea- I don't know
Melissa- I can handle it but Sweet Pea she doesn't need to go through that
Sweet Pea- I know
Melissa- I feel like I failed
Daniel- No you didn't. We are here for a while why don't we just check her in
Melissa- Maybe
Daniel- Did you get some sleep
Melissa- Yeah but not really
Daniel- I have something planned for you
Melissa- Why
Daniel- Well it happens to be your birthday
Melissa- Right
Beth- Well its the birthday girl
Melissa- Thanks Beth. Need a hand in the kitchen
Sam- Its an unspoken rule in the house the birthday girl or boy doesn't cook or anything
Melissa- Even him
Sam- Yep
Melissa- Wow
Sweet Pea- I'm going to check on uh Izzy
Melissa- Okay
We walked outside and talked waiting for breakfast. Next Sweet Pea, Izzy, and the others walked out. Daniel walked out with a huge iced coffee that he was giving to me.
Daniel- For the birthday girl
Melissa- Wow I don't think I'll finish that
Sweet Pea- Please don't
Melissa- Oh wait does it
Daniel- Soy
Melissa- Okay
I drank it as he handed the other coffees out. Around 9 Ash wondered out and came to sit next to me.
Ash- What
Melissa- That was only 3hours
Ash- Not a day sleeper
Melissa- Try to get some sleep later at least
Ash- I will
Beth- Ash do you want coffee
Ash- Yeah
Beth- Sam can you run this out to Ash
Sam- Why
Beth- Sam please
Melissa- Your dad pisses me off sometimes
Gabby- We know
Sam- What did I do
Melissa- Not everything is related to you know what
Ash- Yeah about that
