Melissa's POV 

Daniel has been in a coma for a week and its been the worst week for me. I made a post about it and because of my singing career its viral. Everyone is sending love towards to me because its been really hard for me. I decided to go to work today because I needed to go back. Sam was going to be with me so Landon, Steven, Jason, and Isabella get a bit of a break. The first class I was very closed off from everything and I had to remove myself for a minute. 

John- Mrs. Connor I'm sorry about your husband so I got this for you 

Melissa- Oh John thank you this means a lot

John-Your welcome uh I took your advise last week and I came out to my parents

Melissa- Humor me

John- They were excepting of me and now they want to get a flag for our house

Melissa- Thats good John 

John- Yeah you are a good person on advice

Melissa- Thats good to hear well class is about to end so you better pack up 

Today was still pretty hard because I have a picture of me and Daniel on my desk. I did help Sam out the best I could but it was small little things since I was still not in right mental state. No one has contacted me about Daniel and they won't let me see him so that's been hard. We had 2 more classes to get though and its not getting any easier. 

Gabby- Hey 

Sam- Hey Gabs how you feeling today

Gabby- Better I'm dropping this by 

Melissa- What is it

Gabby- You didn't take these this morning 

Melissa- I forgot I was in a rush

Gabby- Its alright just don't forget again okay I got to go 

She walked out and our class came in. Beth was stopping by with Pop's and I knew it was more so they could make me eat since I've been pretty good about lying about eating and I've lost weight the week Daniel has been in a coma. I am worried that he won't make it out of there alive. I'm not eating, sleeping really, not having enough fluids, and my asthma has been pretty bad lately. I was so lost in thought through the classes that the students and Sam noticed. 

Sam- Mrs. Connor why don't you take this over for me real quick I have to run to the bathroom 

Melissa- Alright. What are we talking about 

Sam- Birth defects 

Melissa- Alrighty so birth defects. Anyone have someone that was born with something. Yeah its not easy is it. 

Student- Are you okay 

Melissa- Yeah no I'm okay 

I put on a fake smile and and I continued the lesson. Sam came back and I was just crumbling that he had to get me out of the classroom. I walked to an empty room to have a moment and I was shaking. I stayed in here until the class ended  and the door opened. 

Steven- Hey why don't you head home 

Melissa- No I've already missed enough 

Landon- Melissa this isn't healthy 

Alyssa- I have to agree on this 

Melissa- Just give me till lunch then I'll go 

Steven- Alright 

I calmed down and walked back to the classroom working on something during the third class. By lunch I was sitting at my desk and I was staring at the picture.
