Melissa's POV 

Few weeks later we are now in New York for the Met Gala and I am a bit nervous because I haven't been in public since I quit. I am expecting the worst of the worst of questions from people. We still had a few hours so the 4 of us decided to go do something together. We went to Central Park and it was nice to do this. 

Melissa- Wow I forgot how nice it is to walk around places without people on top of me

Dom- Tell me about it

Melissa- Spoke to soon 

Fan- I love you both oh my god

Dom- How ya doin

Fam- Good Melissa I love you and I don't hate that you quit. I personally think its valid of you 

Melissa- If you don't mind how many people think that

Fan- A lot of us. Me personally I was a fan of you before you became a singer 

That meant a lot to me and we talked to her a few more minutes until we continued on. We walked around for about for a while until we had to head back to get ready. 

Alyssa- So where are you both getting ready at 

Melissa- The hotel we are staying in. Dom and I will be getting ready in separate rooms though 

Alyssa- Gotcha 

Daniel- Well the stylists will be at our room soon so we better head in 

We weren't that far of a walk to Central Park so it was nice to walk. When we got to the hotel room they were waiting outside of the room. I washed my face real quick then put patches under my eyes so I don't breakout from all the makeup they do. The hotel room was pretty bog so people could move around. Daniel was with Alyssa and when they were working on my hair Daniel walked in. 

Melissa- Hi 

Daniel- I got you this 

Melissa- Oh thank you 

It was a protein bar and I munched on that as they were doing my hair. They were curling my hair and Ash facetimed me as I was getting it done. 

Ash- Yeah so me and Grace did it today 

Melissa- Did what.....oh wow and 

Ash- I think I did it in the right timing

Melissa- Good for you baby 

Ash- Thanks. Aunt Gabby has been bugging us about it for weeks 

Melissa- Well that's Gabby for you 

Ash- Well grandma and grandpa are taking us to Pop's for dinner so I gotta go 

Melissa- Alrighty I love you babe call us if you need anything 

Ash- I will bye

She hung up and then they moved on my make up 

Daniel- Nervous 

Melissa- A little its going to be my first public appearance since my last show 

Daniel- It will be like any event you went to 

Melissa- Crossing my fingers 

After a while they got my hair and makeup completely finished. I then I went to put my dress on. They took inspiration from one year Billie Eilish went so basically it's a big dress but not as big as hers I will still be able to move on my own. When I got into my dress Daniel was texting someone. 

Daniel- Wow you look beautiful as beautiful on our wedding day

Melissa- About those vows 

Daniel- I'm working on it
