Daniel's POV 

A week later I decided to surprise Melissa this morning because she has been pretty busy with work and sometimes working at the Whyte Wyrm. I woke up before 7 since that's when she wakes up on her days off or later at 8. She's not the best on sleeping in and going to bed at a good time. 

Ash- Morning dad 

Daniel- What are you doing up so early 

Ash- Mom didn't tell you 

Daniel- No 

Ash- Well she normally is up by now but I work at Pop's right now I've been working there for a while 

Daniel- Thats explains why I never see you in the mornings 

Ash- Yeah I work till noon because of classes and everything 

Daniel- Alright well you better head off 

Ash- I still have 30 minutes 

Daniel- Alright. Grace still asleep 

Ash- Yeah uh so I haven't told mom this just because I don't want to upset her or anything but me and Grace have been looking for apartments or a little house to move into 

Daniel- You have 

Ash- Yeah. I love living with you both but I want to live with Grace and we have been living with you or with grandma and grandpa 

Daniel- Do you have the money 

Ash- Yeah 

Daniel- Why haven't you told your mom. You know if you don't tell her I think it would crush her more than you wanting to move out 

Ash- I know I just don't know how to tell her I want to move out without her thinking she did something wrong 

Daniel- Well you can sit down with her and talk about it with her 

Ash- Okay 

Daniel- Just be honest because lying would make her feel horrible 

Ash- I think that's the last thing I want to do 

Daniel- Okay 

Ash- What are you doing up 

Daniel- Well your mom is getting a bit of a surprise today 

Ash- Date day 

Daniel- Yep 

Ash- Nice 

Ash gave me a hand on making breakfast and then she had to leave. I set up the table all cute for us and had her coffee all made. Melissa was still asleep when it was ready so I woke her up. 

Daniel- Baby wake up. Mel 

Melissa- What 

Daniel- Its time to wake up 

Melissa- What time is it 

Daniel- 7 

Melissa- Okay 

Daniel- I know you don't want to get out of bed but come on 

She is a little moody when she wakes up buts also pretty cute since she just wants to cuddle. 

Melissa- Why are you...........awe Daniel whats all this 

Daniel- Well you've been working your ass off all day and everyday being a teacher so since its our wedding anniversary as well I wanted to do a date day

Melissa- Oh my god its our anniversary I am so sorry Daniel I didn't get your anything 

Daniel- I don't mind. I have all everything I wanted which is a wife that is down to earth and a daughter
