Melissa's POV
Jumping to Wednesday afternoon I'm sitting in Dom's dressing room. He was in sound check right now and I was working on some paperwork on my computer.
Melissa- Daniel can you run out to the car for me and get my bag
Daniel- Yeah
Melissa- Thanks. Oh fuck
Daniel- What
Melissa- I left my inhaler at the hotel room
Daniel- Lucky for you I always still carry one around
Melissa- Thank you
He set on the table and walked out. I continued the paper work and I had to end up Calling Toni about it. She explained it for me and when I got around to finishing this one Dom walked in from sound check. Daniel trailed behind me handing my bag and I slammed the computer shut.
Dom- You okay love
Melissa- Oh yeah its nothing like Hiram Lodge wants to by the fucking Whyte Wyrm back from us
Daniel- Don't let him
Melissa- Like I'm going to let a Lodge take over the fucking Southside again so he can turn it into a jail or worse more of the Northside pushing us to work in the prison
Daniel- What did he offer
Melissa- The amount I earn a song
Dom- Whats so bad about him
Melissa- He has criminal record after criminal record but he's only been in jail twice why because he has connections everywhere. Speak of the devil. Mr. Lodge to what do I owe the not so pleasure of you calling me
Hiram- I'm assuming you saw my email
Melissa- Yes I did and I'm not taking it
Hiram- You can work for me Melissa. I could keep you out of danger not like your brother is doing a good job
Melissa- I'm not being your mole rat Hiram. You wanted the serpents gone but we never left because Riverdale is our home not yours
Hiram- Look if this about the tribe
Melissa- Oh yes it is because that's my family and my fucking blood Hiram. You put Izzy in danger and I'm not stupid enough to fall into that rabbit hole
Hiram- Look I understand your concerns but I would give you unity
Melissa- I already have unity with the serpents and the Southside
Hiram- We could work together on your terms
Melissa- I know your playing cards Hiram I'm not falling for it. You've worked with our rival gang before so how do I know that your not planning on bringing something back
Hiram- Thats in the past
Melissa- Hiram do I need to remind you you sided with the silencers and I hope you know I was Riverdales most wanted when that happened. You gave me fucking trauma and to my daughter. What would do if that was Veronica
Hiram- Don't turn this around Connor
Melissa- Oh I am. You are the reason why Keller can't get his damn job back
Hiram- Melissa
Melissa- Goodbye Hiram
I hung up and Daniel shook his head.
Dom- He doesn't give up
Melissa- No
Daniel- Hey I need to step out for a bit
