Melissa's POV 

5 months later of me restarting fame again and doing it all from Riverdale since I needed to help Beth with Sam. But last night Sam got really bad health wise and we had to rush him to the hospital. I went with him since Beth wanted to explain to the others about what happened. Around midnight he flatlined and they did everything they could but he didn't make it. The last thing he told me is he was proud of me then he passed after saying that. It was hard to hear that since he was basically my dad. I headed back to the house and everyone jumped up. It was 6 am and it looked like no one slept that night. 

Beth- Please tell me everything was okay

Melissa- Beth.....uh Sam died at midnight 

Beth- Your joking right please tell me your joking 

Melissa- I wish I was

Beth- Oh my god

All 3 of them started crying and then Ash walked down with Grace. 

Ash- Mom what happened. Did grandpa die

Melissa- Yeah he did honey 

Ash- No he couldn't have 

Melissa- Come here its okay 

I held Ash for 30 minutes as she cried then I had to go tell Sweet Pea. I slipped out and walked to his house. I noticed Fp's bike was here but I didn't care. 

Sweet Pea-Mel hey want some coffee

Fp- You okay kid 

Melissa- Uh Sam died last night

Sweet Pea- What time

Melissa- Midnight. I stayed up with him and Beth because we were talking then he fell walking to bed. I took Sam because he wouldn't let Beth go with him but at 12 he passed but minutes before he said how proud of he was of me. Jordan, Sam was like a dad to me and I don't know what to do  

Sweet Pea- Hey its okay 

Izzy- Dad did you want..........bad timing 

Melissa- No its okay I was just leaving 

Izzy- Are you okay 

Melissa- No yeah I'm fine. I'm going to go back home and be with Ash 

Fp- Melissa 

Melissa- Yeah 

Fp- I know I wasn't there for you but if you need anything I will be at the Whyte Wyrm today if you need anything

Melissa- Okay 

I stepped out and as I was walking back to the house I ran into Steven and Isabella. 

Isabella- Hey Mel do you know where Daniel is we have been trying......wait why are you hiding 

Steven- Is Daniel okay 

Melissa- Yeah Daniel is fine. Uh Sam died last night after telling me how proud of me he was and I resigned with my label so I don't know what to do

Isabella let go of Stevens hand and hugged me. I just broke at that point because I couldn't hold it in anymore. I didn't make it very far from Sweet Pea's house so when Fp was about to leave he caught me crying my eyes out. He came over to me and hugged me. After a bit Daniel came looking for me. His eyes were bloodshot red from all the crying he's done. 

Steven- Melissa told us how you holding up 

Daniel- Not well. Baby come here 

Fp- See you later hun
