"East is clear, no sign of Dart!" Mike spoke into the super-com

"West is clear too, Will?" Dustin's voice spoke.

"South is clear. Lucas?" 

"Nothing here man. "

I decided I didn't want to wait in the nurse's office anymore. I wanted to help. A nose bleed was no big deal. I walked into the gym and I immediately saw the door swing to the boy's locker room. I hesitantly walked in. 

"Why do guys have to stink?" I wonder aloud walking into the smelly locker room. The room had a red light overhead when you first entered and the natural light made the rest of the room look dark blue. I heard some clattering behind me and I grabbed a broom next to me ready to whack this Polly wog. 

"Gotcha!" I say jumping out from my hiding spot only to find Max. I sigh dramatically and walk out of the room. 

"Wait! You're not supposed to be here. The boys wanted you to stay in the nurse's office." MAx says walking out of the locker room and following me. 

"I swear to god if they try to baby me again I'll make them eat their hands," I say. Ever since Eleven went missing all they ever do is baby me. If I had a small paper cut, Lucas is there with a disinfectant, Mike is there with bandaids, Dustin is cleaning up my finger with napkins, and Will is hugging me telling me it's gonna be ok. IT WAS A GOD DAMN PAPER CUT

"Now that's a little harsh." Max laughed.

"Yeah well, they think that you are a total badass and you can handle yourself. You are, but I am too. It used to be so simple for us. Mike's our paladin, Will's our cleric, Dustin's our bard, Lucas is our ranger, I'm our Gladiator, and El is our mage." I said not even paying attention to what I said.

"El? who's El?" Max asked.

I stopped in my tracks. "Someone..." I shook my head remembering we had to keep this secret, "No one."

"Someone or no one?" Max asked. 

"She was in our party a long time ago. She moved away. " I said decided the conversation was over But Max had other plans.

"She was a mage? Well, what could she do? Like magic tricks or something?" Max asked jumping on her skateboard and cruising over to me as I sated walking away. 

"I could be your zoomer," Max said stopping her skateboard in front of me.

"It's not that I don't want you in our party it's...ut's a lot of things. Plus a zoomer isn't even a real thing." 

"It could be." MAx started circling me on her skateboard, "See zoomer," 

"That's actually pretty cool!" I smiled watching her circle me. 

"I know, impressive right?" Max asked teasingly. Flipping her hair over the shoulder like in movies. 

"Can you do tricks and not just circles?" I asked teasingly.

"If you think circles are easy you should try."

"No." I laughed.

"I just know as soon as I step on it. I'll fall. Plus I don't know how." I laughed. 

"If you want I could teach you."Max offered. My face lit up.

"Really?" 

"Yep, you just gotta learn the basics first." She said skating closer to me. 

"You know that you're cool." I laughed,

"Not bad yourself." She smiled at me and continues to circle me before she fell off her board. Well, more like was forced off her board. She flew off of it.

"Ow!" Max cried grabbing her side in pain. I sat down next to her and helped her up. "It was like a magnet or something pulling on my board. I know that sounds crazy." Max shook her head thinking I didn't believe her. But I did,

Eleven was the only explanation I could think of. I looked towards the doors of the gum and saw someone walking past. I didn't get a good look at the person's face. I ran out of the gym. I looked left and right, but no one was there. "EL?" I tried shouting but got nothing in response. 

"Guys...I found him." Will's voice over the super-com interrupted my thought. 

"Where?" Dustin asked.

"In the bathroom. By Mr. Salerno's."

"Copy that," Mike said. I raced to the bathrooms with the rest of them.

"Where is Dart?" Mike asked

"I don't know. Not here." Dustin shrugged.

"What?" Mike started looking through all the stalls.

"He said by Salerno's," Max said rolling her eyes.

"I don't know. Will must have him/" Duston shrugged again.

"Where is Will?" Mike asked noticing Will's absence

Lucas looked outside the bathroom, but my eyes were focused on Will's super-com on the floor. "Shit!" I said running out of the halls to try to find my friend, "WILL?" I yelled through the halls.

The boys and Max followed me though the halls.

"WILL?"
