I couldn't be in there any longer, I had to get out. So when I saw Hopper walking outside I decided to follow him. 

I stayed behind, of course, I saw him get in his car and start talking to someone over his speaker thing in his truck. I, being the nosy kid I am, wanted to know who he was talking to. Just as I crept up by his car I heard his last sentence.

"I will be home soon!" He said it in a hopefully but promising way. It was somewhat sad.

"Who you talking to big boy?" I taped on his window.

"Jesus christ Y/N!" Hop jolted up and calmed down after seeing my face, "Somebody...nobody" 

"Ohh this sounds like a conversation I had a few days ago." I said remembering my conversation with Max and getting deja-vu "So, who's the lady waiting for you at home?" I said hopping in the car

"No lady is waiting at home for me." He said hiding something.

"Ok, like I'm going to believe that. Then who were you talking to."

"Didn't your mother teach you not to spy on people?" He asked irritated

"No, but she did teach me how to eavesdrop!" I smiled innocently. "So if it's not a gal who is it then?" he stayed silent. "Is it your daughter?" I asked. He turned to look at me shocked.

"How do you know-" He started but I stopped him.

"Everyone knows about Sarah... " I trailed off, "But it's ok if you still talk to her I won't judge or tell anyone. I still talk to someone I lost."

Hopper's face softened and he looked away from me, "Is that so?"

"Yeah, but at least you had closure with Sarah. I don't even know if she's still out there! And that's the worst part. the not knowing." I looked down as tears started to build up in my eyes and Hopper pulled me to his side and hugged me as I cried.

I was back in the room and Joyce had just stormed out to talk to the doctors. It was just Will, Mike, and I in the room. 

"Psst! Hey!" I whispered at Will, his heartbeat had started to go up.

"Will! Will?" Mike tried and of course, the simp woke up for Mike.

"huh?" 

"What's wrong are they hurting you again?"

"Uh- I saw something."

"In your now-memories?"

"The shadow monster...I think I know how to stop him!" 

"Hell yeah, you do!" I smirked!

God damn, these are a lot of photos was the first thing I thought as Will's eyes scanned all the pictures on the table in the office. Mike was sitting on Will's right while I was on his left. The doctors towered over us.

"Sam this is ludicrous," One of them snapped.

"Just give him a moment-! Owens demanded

"We don't have time-"
