OUTCAST CHAPTER: FOURTEEN

Eun shouted as she held Jung. "Dr.Eun, Thank you for everything," Jung spoke before closing his eyes.

"YOU MIDGET! DID YOU KNOW HOW SCARED WE BECAME WHEN YOU FAINTED OUT OF NOWHERE! WE THOUGHT YOU DIED!" Augus shouted at the giggling boy, on the bed, of his new room.
His new room was a baby-purple colour, and had small fairy lights on the top of his bed. He decided to take a ton of pictures, and hand them in the middle of the fairy lights. A small black couch and a white coffee table and a bit of paintings and his poems hanging on either walls, made it feel like a little house, "Dr. Augus! Why shout like this?" Jung giggled., "That's because I'm your father! I signed the adoption papers!" Jung's eyes widened with joy. "R-really?" Jung's eyes watered and Augus handed him a paper.

AUGUSTINE NOLAN MIN AND HAILEY JOEL MIN, HAVE DECIDED ON ADOPTING JUNG ABEL. THE VARIED DETAILS AND CHANGES OCCURRING AFTER THE ADOPTION ARE GIVEN BELOW.
: MR AND MS MIN WILL BE THE GUARDIANS OF JUNG ABEL.
: YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF FACILITIES LIKE FOOD, SHELTER, AND ANY OTHER TYPE OF FACILITIES FOR THE CHILD
: YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE THE STUDIES OF THE CHILD UNTIL HE\SHE IS UP TO 18 YEARS OF AGE.
: HE\SHE'S NAME WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR FAMILY REGISTER
: HE\SHE WILL NOW OWN ANY PROPERTIES GIVEN IN YOUR DEATH WILL, OR ANY SORT OF ACQUIREMENT.
: HE\SHE WILL BE NOW CONNECTED TO ANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OR ANY OTHER RELATIONS YOU POSSESS WITH THE CHILD.
: HE\SHE WILL BE NOW OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
: IF HE\SHE IS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE, YOU WILL BE INCLINED WITH PROPER PROTECTION AND SAFETY OF THE CHILD
: HE\SHE CAN BE LEGALLY BE THE SON\DAUGHTER OF THE GUARDIANS.
: HE\SHE CAN BE ENROLLED IN EDUCATION UNTIL THE AGE OF 14, OR MORE
: HE\SHE'S RELATION AND OTHER IDENTITY DOCUMENTS WILL BE ADDED TO THE FAMILY REGISTER AND OTHER KNOWN DOCUMENTS.

Jung recovered well, so well that the observation went without any problems and the higher-ups decided it was best for him to be discharged after a long time of 6 months.

"Papa! Mama!" Jung called to the couple, happily standing next to each other, on their son's birthday, supposed to be a surprise. "Yes! JUNG ABEL MIN!" Augus shouted at the top of his voice, "I LOVE YOU AUGUSTINE NOLAN MIN! AND HAILEY JOEL MIN!" Jung copied Augus, "Hey! Who're you shouting at?" Augus asked the boy, who cursed himself mentally and ran away, leaving the woman, softly smiling at the now chasing father and son. "Aww you guys are so cute!" Hailey exclaimed, acting as if she were melting due to their cuteness. "W..what?" Augus and Jung looked at each other, clueless, "OOF! You guys still don't get whether I'm saying a compliment or an insult." Hailey spoke, her hand massaging her temples. "Hailey, just leave them be, let's have a girls night out." Eun smiled, joining the trio. "Areum!" "Liea!" Both the woman hugged each other as if they haven't seen each other for years when in reality, They saw each other this very morning. "so! Today isn't your wedding anniversary, is it?" Eun whispered to Hailey's ear, Hailey smiled shyly. "It's Jung's 17th birthday, we haven't celebrated it, ever since Jung was discharged, he said he got nightmares, and since he's still on medications and the therapies are helping very well, we decided to celebrate his birthday, he doesn't know, but when we asked yesterday, he said he was okay with celebrating it." Eun smiled brightly, watching the boy play around with Augus and Baek, who joined now, Mai was coming to them as she said, "Baek said it was best if we got to know each other, sooo... you know." Eun chuckled, and smiled. "Happy for you, bestie!" Hailey smiled and hugged Mai, Mai returning it as well, Eun joined it too.

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, dear Jungie! May god bless you, Happy birthday, Happy Birthday dear Jungie! Happy birthday to you~~~~!" Jung's eyes widened. "Thank you guys so much," Jung smiled. Everyone was happy, and cut the cake, they had a happy reunion, before going home. Jung sat at the back seat of the car, Hailey and Augus at the front. "Mhm, I know honey." Augus and Hailey smiled, talking and discussing on various subjects, including Jung as well. Suddenly, the flash of light which hit Hailey's eyes, as she was driving, led her to loose the grip on the steering, Which later collided with a truck. The truck was heavy, so it split the car in half, fracturing a limb or two of the people inside. Hailey was sent flying away to one side, with the airbag of the car keeping her in place, and Augus to another side, his airbag keeping him safe as well, Jung flew to the front of the road, and injured his head, The last thing he saw before closing his eyes was Del, she was smiling happily before crouching down and saying. "Ironic, isn't it? That the same girl, who saved him from death, killed him herself." She laughed happily and vanished, just like that.
