Too Many Mistakes (J.G) Book 2

Chapter 1

The warm California air was brushing through my hair as I was driving home from another shoot. Nash told me to take up modeling because he thought I was perfect for it. That was just him talking though.

Nash and I have been going really good together. We've been living in LA for a month and two weeks now. That means we've almost been together six months.

I pull up in the driveway leading to the beautiful building that I call home. The front of the house looking like a palace when the inside is big yet comfy. The backyard is huge with a patio, a pool, and a nice grassy area for when our friends bring their dogs.

I push open the door and hear my dog running towards me.
"Hey buddy." I say getting down to pet him. Nash and I got a German Shepard. It was a dog that I wanted for us. He's amazing. His name is Frank, but I call him buddy most of the time.
"Hey princess." I say gently scratching behind our cat's ears. We also have a cat. Nash wanted one. So we got one. Her name is Lily and she's an American Shorthair. Usually cats and dogs don't get along but Frank and Lily get along perfectly.

"Nash?" I call out. "I'm home." No answer. I put my things on the couch and go get something to drink.

I grab a water from the fridge and notice a note sitting on it.

"Had a surprise meeting. Be back later. Some friends are coming over later. Love you. XOXO -Nash." He was cute. I decide to pick up my phone and call him.

After two rings he answers. "Hello gorgeous." He answers the phone. I smile even though he can't see me.
"Hey. I just got home and saw your note." I say to him.
"Okay. I'm sorry that I had to go. They called me and I had to go right in." He explains to me.
"It's okay. How many people are coming over?" I ask him.
"Um...Cam, Matt, Shawn..." He then starts to count in his head.
"Ten." He says.
"Okay. Wow ten people." I say.
"I can reschedule if-"
"No it's fine. Um do you want me to order or pick up anything?" I ask him.
"Could you get pizza?" He asks me.
"Sure. What kind and how many?"
"Just get like 7 boxes of pepperoni and get the pizza that we like." He says.
"Okay. I'll get that soon. What time will you be home?" I ask him.
"6. I'll try and be home earlier."
"Okay. I'll see you soon." I say.
"Alright. Bye."
"Bye." I say and hang up the phone. It was 4:30 now. I have an hour and a half to get everything cleaned and the food.

The house stays clean but there are a few things here and there that I should clean. I pick up the few dog toys at were on the floor and some towels.

After about 30 minutes I get the house clean. Next I need to go get the pizza. I can't just leave Frank and Lily here alone.
"Frank! Lily!" I call and hear Frank's paws patter on the floor. I see Lily trot in after him. I pick her up and open the door for Frank.

Frank sits in the passenger seat and Lily remains on my lap as I drive to the pizza place.

"Hi how may I help you?" The girl at the front asks.
"Can I get seven pepperoni pizzas and one grilled chicken pizza please?" I ask her. She nods and she grabs all the pizzas. 8 total.
"Anything else for you today?" She asks me.
"Yea and 10 sodas please." I say as she rings it up.
"Okay that will be $84.75." She says to me. I swipe my card and it goes through. "Would you like any help?" She asks me.
"Yes please." I say to her as she takes the pizzas to my car. I grab four sodas and walk towards the door when I bump into someone. I drop one of the bottles and the person catches it.
"Thank you." I breathe out.
"No problem." I look up and see a young boy around 16 holding the bottle I dropped. "Here let me help you." He says taking the four heavy bottles from me.
"Thanks." I say and go grab four more. We walk to my car and I let the girl put the pizza boxes on the seat. The boy puts the sodas on the floor and I do too. I head back inside to get the last two ones when the boy follows me.
"I'll take those." He says grabbing them from me and going back to my car.
"Thanks." I say as he closes the door.
"Anytime. I'm Ethan by the way." He says.
"Ella." I say shaking his head.
"We'll see you around Ella." He says as I get in my car.

When I get home I grab the pizzas and put them on the counter. I then see Frank run in and place a soda on the floor next to 5 others. I smile to myself and put them in the fridge.

It's 6 now. Nash should be home any minute. I quickly go upstairs and look at myself. My outfit was a little much just for his friends coming over but I decided not to change. I was wearing a royal blue skirt that stops at mid thigh, a white tank top with a leather jacket. I had on black heels that strapped around my ankles. My hair was perfectly curled from the photoshoot and my make up was good. I sprayed myself with some more perfume when I hear the door close.
"Who's what?" I ask Frank. He gets up and runs downstairs. Lily walks beside me as I close the bedroom door and start heading down the stairs.

When I get downstairs I see someone with a dog in the kitchen. I smile knowing who it is.
"Hey Matt." I say entering the kitchen.
"Hey. Wow you look good." He says looking at my outfit.
"Thanks. I had another photoshoot today." I say to him.
"Awesome. When is your stuff going public?" He asks me.
"I'm not sure." I say grabbing a water. "Where is everybody?" I ask.
"Pool." He says taking a sip of his drink.
I walk out and Nash meets me on the path.
"Hey beautiful." He says kissing me.
"Hey." I say after our kiss.
"Did you have a good day?" He asks me. I shrug.
"Could have been better." I say as he wraps his arm around my waist and we walk towards the others.
"Hey Ella." Cameron says as he walks past me into the house.
"Hey." I reply looking back at him.

Nash and I reach the little part where the chairs are and I see a lot of boys sitting there.
"Guys this is my girlfriend Ella." Nash says introducing me. I smile and look at everyone. Then I land on someone and my smile fades. They stand up and I can see how muscular they are. I was about to speak but I then quickly turn around and run inside.

As quickly as I could I swing the door open and run toward the stairs. Tears were escaping my eyes. My heels click on the floor as I run through the house and up the stairs.
"Ella?" Matt calls. I ignore him and keep running up the stairs. "Ella! Wait!" Matt calls. I run to my room, close my door and lock it. My arms shake as I wrap them around myself.

Why am I reacting like this? I know I would run into Jack eventually. So why am I hiding in my room crying like a scared child? I don't know.

I was still crying when the door unlocks and opens to reveal Nash with a worried look on his face.
"Baby what's wrong?" He asks me. I don't answer him. "As soon as you saw Ja-"
"DON'T say his name!" I say a little too harsh. Nash looks at me concerned.
"Why? What's wrong?" He asks me.
"I-I....I just don't want to loose you." I say and run into his arms. He wraps them around me holding me close.
"You won't. I promise." He says. "You and I forever." He whispers then kisses my forehead.

It wasn't that I was scared to see Jack it was that I was scared to loose Nash. I love him and with Jack as one of his best friends it will be hard for me to be around them. I just don't want to loose Nash because I can't let go of what I had with Jack. But I'm going to.

Because I don't love him anymore.
