I quickly get ready as I only have an hour till they get here. Tonight I was taking a good friend's little sister to a concert. I'm taking her since her brother has some work left to do. I met her brother through my job. We both worked at the mall. He worked at Journeys and I worked at Rue 21. They were right across the hallway from each other. His name was Liam. We've hung out before as friends. Nothing more, nothing less. He does live on his own, but he took his sister with him as he moved out. Something Nate and I were suppose to do. His sister's name is Crystal and she's 15 and I'm almost 19. Liam doesn't mind the fact that I'm almost four years older than her.
Since Liam was dropping Crystal and her things off here I had to get ready. The concert was going to get done around nine so we wouldn't get back until at least 10:30. She was just going to spend the night here. I already showered and dried my hair. Which I then pulled up into a ponytail. My make up was the usual. Concealer, mascara, and a tinted lip balm. I then slip on my outfit. I wear a pair of maroon shorts with a black muscle tee that says 'good vibes' on it. I wore a maroon bra with it.
I look at myself in the mirror. A lot has changed in the past 6 months. My hair is longer and darker. My face is more defined. My cheek bones are more noticeable and my eyes have turned more of a blue green. They look pretty. My body had become more muscular. Liam and I often go to the gym on weekends. It's nice.
I lastly spray myself with a perfume then slip on my maroon vans. Before I can do anything else Tucker barks at the door. "Come in!" I shout knowing it's Liam and Crystal. The door opens and Tucker stops barking. "Liam?" I call out.
"Yea?" He responds.
"Are my wallet and keys on the counter?" I ask him.
"Yea." He shouts as I walk out of my bedroom. I had a small studio apartment. Two bedrooms one bath. It had a huge living room and a big kitchen, which I love. "You look good." Liam says as I walk out so they can see me.
"Thanks." I say smiling.
"Good thing you wore shorts. It will be crowded since we will be standing up and a bunch of other things. And we also live in Louisiana." She says with a little laugh. I smile and grab my things.
"I'll drop her off around noon?" I ask Liam.
"I don't care. Are we still going out for lunch tomorrow?" He asks me as Crystal heads out to my car.
"Yea sounds good. I'll text you when I wake up." I say as we both walk out of my apartment. We go down to my car and I see that she is already in the passenger seat.
"I'll see you later." He says to me as he hugs me. I give him a hug back. "Stay safe. Be careful, and thank you for taking her to this." He says. I give him a smile.
"No problem." We both get into our cars and go our opposite directions.
"He likes you, you know." Crystal says after a good half an hour of just us listening to music.
"What?" I question her.
"Liam. He likes you." She says and looks through my phone and looks for a song. I stay quiet. He likes me? I never knew that. I just thought we were only friends. We never did anything more then just be friends. "He talks about how you look so annoyed at your job. You just fold clothes and deal with 13 year old girls all the time." She says giggling. I nod and she chooses a new song. 3000 Miles by Emblem3. This song reminds me of my family and friends. I'm so far away from them, and they don't even know I'm alive.
We arrive at the place and many girls stand outside the doors. They're all general admission though. We were VIP so we had early access to get inside. Our tickets were too meet the people after the show. Most girls had it before because it was cheaper. Our tickets were $200 each. Liam bought them for her birthday. It was nice of him. She was his little sister after all. She was everything to him.
