"Come on Jared!" Ashley shouts over the other people shouting and the sound of their motorbikes. Ashley has always enjoyed going to Jared's games or anything that's a sport with me. It was something we bonded over. "He's really good." She says as he rides over a hill catching some air.

"He is." I say smiling. I was proud that Jared was trying other things than football. Don't get me wrong he was great at it, I just think that he should do something new every once in a while.

"So tell me. When did you find out that you were pregnant?" She asks me.

"A week ago." I say and she nods.

"Are you upset that you don't know who the father is?"

"No because both the guys are great and nice. If this child was either of them I would be happy, because they've treated me so well." I explain as we watch the end of the race. It was difficult to see the finish because they were on the opposite side of the course from us.

"I think he won!" Ashley squeals. I smile and we both impatiently wait for them to announce who won the last race.

"And First Place, Jared Dillon!" They shout over the speakers that were hanging from telephone poles all around the track. Ashley and I quickly run up to Jared and trap him in a hug

"You did amazing!" I say after we release him.

"Thanks."

"You really did good." Ashley adds on.

"Thanks guys. Can we go eat? I'm starving." He says and I laugh.

"Yea. Let's go." I say as we walk back to my car. we all climb in with me driving and Ashley sitting in the passenger seat. Jared sat between us as we drive to the burger joint downtown. That's where everybody goes after a sports event. It's just the best place after a victory. Even if you loose it's still a good place to go because when either team is there you're not rivals, you're two people who have a passion for the same sport.

We order what we want and choose where we sit. Jared made us sit in our usual spot which is on the second floor at the very back of the room. This spot brings back a lot of memories. Good times and bad times. This restaurant brings back so many memories. This is where I first really told someone anything about me. That person was Jack. God this place reminds me so much of Jack. He's in the past. We're in the past. He has his girl and I have my child. I also have my mom, Jared, and now Ashley. She came back in my life at the right time. I needed a friend besides my mom that I could talk to. Even though she only saw me a few days ago she has never stopped being my friend. She kept the one thing we ever gave each other. Those bracelets. Her's was a baby blue bracelet that had a rectangular piece of metal on it that said 'best friends.' I have the same thing but the band on mine was white. Blue and white were our favorite colors.

Our food shortly came after we were sat down.

"I've missed this place so much." She says taking a huge bite of her burger. I smile and pop a french fry in my mouth. I pick up my cup that was filled with sweet tea when I hear screaming. I choke on my tea and set it back down on the table.

"What the hell was that?" Jared asks.

"Hey. Language mister." I tell him. He apologizes and we go to the stairs to see what it was about. Some girl was holding up their phone with her other friends and I could hear their shouting.

"They're coming here! For a show!" One shouts. They scream again.

"We have to go. It's only $100 for backstage. We can get the money." Another explains.
