Upon arriving at the door of the dining hall, he knocked thrice and opened it even without a response from the inside since it would only probably be Aegan alone or him with the princess to discuss the letter. That would make sense than for him to call him alone.

But it looks like it happen to be his first thought seeing how Aegan is the sole person sitting at the center of the table looking all menacing as if he's ready to spit fire and turned to a dragon.

There's no food in the table so he don't know if he just ordered someone to bring him a breakfast and it hasn't been served yet as it would be weird to talk to him of private matters in an open dining hall wherein it could be heard by servants crossing the room.

"Greetings Your Highness." he said. "I heard Johan--I mean the King of Elfini sent a letter this morning."

He gave him an scornful look. "First name basis e?"

He blush out of embarrassment. He knows he's being rude by addressing the king just like that but it's just slipped his tongue.

He didn't reply so he just continue talking.

"Let's have breakfast first as I heard you've been training early. What do you want to eat?"

"I appreciate the offer Your Highness but I already had my breakfast with a knight at the training grounds. They seem to have their breakfast there and offered me some. I would like to kindly ask what the King might have said."  he said not beating around the bush.

Aegan side eyed him sharply. He don't know what happened to him or if the letter Johann sent made him like that but right now he really looks like he's in a foul mood.

"I see you have settled so well you're now able to have breakfast with some random guy out there rather that have it with me. Are you this loose?" he said sarcastically.

He was taken aback.

What the hell happened for him to act like that and what's with his words. How did he became loose by merely having breakfast.

"Pardon but I didn't even know that you would ask me to accompany you for breakfast Your Highness." he said holding to his patience and letting his insult slide.

He scorned at him. "Calling me Your Highness despite my repetitive order not to and addressing the king with his name so casually. Hah! It must be true! You even looked so excited coming to see me for the letter. You must really be the King's lover." he said looking at him with mixture of icy cold anger and a very little spark of betrayal he felt shivers run his spine.

"What do you mean lover? I told you before, I had no one. And why are you so angry at me?" he must have adapted with the servants anxiety whenever Aegan is in a foul mood seeing how it made him feel agitated knowing he's mad a him for whatever reason.

"Don't play coy with me Yarran." he said eyeing him fiercely. "Your 'King' sent a letter requesting for your return instead of the princess calling you his pet and you're telling me you're no one's lover? You even sound so casual uttering his name for a king and knight relationship. Why would a king do that for you? Are you so much a skilled of a knight you could took down a bear all on your own? Because if not, I don't see any reason aside from you lying about you being not seeing and bedding anyone when you seem to already be an expert in warming some king's bed!" he said furiously.

He was appalled by his accusation. Given if it's true that he might be Johann's lover, what is it to him to make him so angry. He was debaucherous himself. He didn't agree to be his lover indeed. But what greatly shocked him was what Johann wrote in his letter. Is he really going insane? Why would he write something like getting him back and not the princess. Even calling him a pet. What the hell. He only belongs to the princess and no one else.
