"It looks like the convoy of the Princess has finally arrived back at Elfini and reported to their King Your Highness." said Fedelin and place a sealed envelope above the pile of documents in his table. "He immediately sent a letter addressing you personally."

He eyed the letter uninterested. "It never crossed my mind he had such care for his sister and send probably a letter of return this early on after I send his troops back. To think that his busy with warring in the North and still finds time to prioritize her. This was quite a surprise given how he almost gave her away before." he said while clasping his hands. This will be a dilemma as it would ruin his plans of using the princess for his personal reasons.

"Hmm." he might sound like he's thinking but his mind is actually wandering to where Yarran might be at this time. He didn't see him tagging along with the princess earlier when he bump to her and it's bugging him as he's used to him tailing the princess wherever. That's the reason why he's easy to find. Just find the princess and voila he's right behind her.

It annoys him instead of being satisfied that he's doing his supposed to be job properly. Or maybe he just want him to be tailing him instead. He wants to be able to reach and grab him whenever he wants to.

"Where is Yarran?" he instead asked.

"He asked me to show him to where the training grounds is, he might be there training Your Highness." said Fedelin.

"Have you seen him have breakfast yet?" he asked again. Completely ignoring the letter from the King of Elfini. "I want to have a breakfast, asked the servants to prepare a light meal and bring Yarran to the dining table with me."

"I will Your Highness, but shouldn't you be first reading the letter to know it's contents?"

He looked at him. Only few people in this whole country has the guts to question his actions. He's one of those. Almost all the time he just follows his orders blindly but there are times wherein he softly step up to remind him of his duty. Fedelin is his father's butler and since he's now the one managing the country's affairs, he was automatically passed down to him. Usually he was meant to find someone new and young since Fedelin is close in age with his father but he can't find any better than him so he just retain him on that position.

"Should I?" he asked him with a blank expression.

Fedelin just slightly bowed his head silently saying it's up to him.

Without saying anything. He picked the letter over the pile of papers he still need to work on for the day and open the seal revealing only a one page letter.

Glory be upon you Prince Aegan,

I will get straight to the point and skip the pleasantries as both of us are busy men. It seems a pet of mine has wittingly sneaked in your territory. A guy named Yarran. He will be easy to find as he was always tailing my sweetest sister. You see, I want him back. The soonest if I may implore. He was quite feral and will probably fight his way to stay at my sister's side so you could drugged and give him few lashes but please give leniency enough to give him back to me whole and able.

Actually thinking about it, I might allow you to break a leg at least so he will learn his lessons in the future to not go astray from his owner.

I already sent few soldiers to fetch him near the borders.

Hoping for the best relationship between the two of us and may you find my sister endearing and satisfactory to pass your time by.

He laughed incredulously crumpling the letter and violently tossing it on the fire place. It didn't take long for it to turn to ashes and be out of his sight but the letter's content already ruin his just starting day.
