As the time went by and we were preparing to land, everything started to feel more real.

Everything had started hitting me. The reality but the alcohol as well.

"Fuck! I can't show up at home like this!" I groaned as I struggled to buckle my seat belt.

"I'm sure they'll understand." Liam chuckled.

"Li-um, this is not a joke." I slurred at him, becoming frustrated with my seat belt.

"Your parents have seen you in much worse conditions." He sighed, leaning over and buckling me in in a matter of seconds after I had been struggling for several minutes.

"Thank you." I grumbled, crossing my arms over my chest like an over grown toddler.

"Mhm." He beamed, probably enjoying my intoxicated state. They all did and I'm pretty sure I would have too if it wasn't for the current looming darkness that hung over me.

"What if he's there." I frowned, slurring my words.

"Then it's better to rip the bandaid off sooner than later." Niall chimed in.

I turned my head in his direction, glaring at him with animosity.

"What if I like the bandaid and prefer to keep my wound out of sight." I argued.

"Sometimes you gotta do things you don't want to." He shrugged, taking the last drag from his cigarette before putting it out. I pursed my lips, absorbing his words. I decided to stay quiet as my mind started playing out worst case scenarios.

We landed a little while after, witch only caused the panic inside of me to grow. Niall and Liam helped me off of the plane while Louis helped the other guards with our luggage.

"Maybe lay off the booze next time." Niall snorted as he threw me over his shoulder and headed to the oversized black SUV. I groaned in annoyance. I didn't protest due to the fact that I could barley walk on my own.

"I'm fucking scared, alright? Give me a break." I hissed.

"Just take deep breaths, love." Niall sighed, placing me in the back seat. He got in next to me then Liam got in after him. We waited on Louis and Jack. Louis got in the drivers seat as Jack got into the passengers side.

As we drove down the road my mind went blank. I wasn't sure what I was going to do when I saw my parents. I wasn't even sure what I'd say.
Deep breaths. I repeated to myself.

"Take a nap, we'll be home in an hour or so." Niall suggested, slinging his arm behind me. I sighed, shifting and resting my head on his shoulder. I felt my eyes droop before I closed them and drifted off to sleep.

"She seems pretty comfortable, should we wake her up?" Liam asked as we arrived.

"No, we should let her sleep." I sighed, getting ready to get out of the car.

I decided to pick her up and carry her towards the house. She seemed lighter than I remembered. Her parents were waiting outside the front door. Sky's mother looked like she had been crying.

"Is she alright?" She asked, coming to meet me, Sky's father not far behind.

She kissed Sky's head, relief washed over her.

"She's just had a long day." I explained.

"I suppose we should let her sleep, bring her to her room. I want a guard posted there until she is awake." Her father ordered.

"Yes sir." I addressed him.

Liam followed behind me, carrying her bag. We walked through the foyer and towards the stairs. I did my best not to wake her as we climbed the grand staircase.
