"You better get back here Madeline!" I heard old Mrs Lesley call after me. Why would she expect me to go back there? Detention? I mean, she should be happy I'm running away from it! And her ... *cough cough*

My speed was exceptional as I sped down the hallways and turned a sharp left. I ran past students who kept staring at me. "Isn't it rude to stare?" I called after them and laughed.

I busted through the Schools main doors and jumped. Avoiding the stairs. I never did like stairs. "IM FREE!!" I yelled out.

After running past an old lady with a pram and nearly 10 blocks, I stopped right Infront of Leah's house. Breathing normally. Leah's my best friend. We hang out a lot and I always help her with her problems.

Well I was bored so I decided to stop by.

~*~*~Leah's POV~*~*~

*knock knock knock*

Now... Who could that be? I sighed before standing up. I took the TV remote controller and paused the show. Then I strolled over to the door. Whoever it is, they could wait since they interrupted my show. Well, the beginning of it anyway.

*Knock! Knock! Knock!*

Ugh whoever it was had NO patience. "Coming!" I called. Quickening my steps. I opened the door.

"LEAH!! What took you so long?!" the girl cried out," I waited for HOURS!!" Over-exaggerating much? "I don't know. I didn't know it was you. Text me before coming next time..." I muttered. That girl was Madeline my best friend. The dragon loving, animal loving best friend. I swear if she had the chance to shapeshift she would choose to have dragon wings.

"Haha yea sure! Anyways, Can I come in?" She asked peering over my shoulders. " That is , if no one else is home.."

I sighed. I stepped aside and casually replied,"Yeah no ones home. Come in." Maddy smiled and walked into my living room. Making herself at home. Like she always does.

~*~*~Maddy's POV~*~*~

I looked around Leah's home. Messy. As always. I sighed. "What were you doing?" I asked Leah curiously. "The usual." came her reply. "NARUTO?! You were watching NARUTO?!? Without me?!?" I asked. Eyes widening with hurt.

Leah shook her head. I tilted my head and cocked my eyebrows as if to ask 'then?'. "I thought you had detention?" She eyed me curiously avoiding the question,"unless... You ran away again didn't you?" she sighed.

I nodded smiling. "Such a nuisance!" she said shaking her head. I tilted my head and called out,"But you still LOVE me!! Oh and what episode are you watching?"

"episode 1 till end of it...more like Naruto Marathon."

I smiled with glee . "Count me in!" I cried plopping myself on her couch.

If you didn't already know... Me and Leah are HUGE Naruto Fans!! Well, I am but she enjoys it too.

~*~*~*~4 hours later~*~*~*~

"THAT WAS AWESOME! As usual." Leah said. A huge smile plastered upon her face.

Although we had been watching for 4 hours, we managed to watch until the middle of the series. I nodded my head vigorously in agreement. Ouch I feel a head ache coming.

"why don't you stay over? Mom and dad went on a holiday! They'll only be back in a week." says Leah. I stared at her. Wondering if she had forgotten she had a brother.

As if reading my mind, she replied casually," don't worry about Aloysius! He's at camp and won't be home in 2 weeks!" I grinned and yelled,"IM SOOOOOOOO IN!!"

We had 2 weeks of holiday to enjoy ourselves.

~*~*~*~ 3 days later ~*~*~*~

"The End." I said reading the words that popped out of the screen. "Sasukes so cool! And hot too!!" Leah said winking. " Heh he's only acting cool. I find him rather annoying because he's just sooooo mean." I replied. "tck if only we were in Naruto... That would be awesome! Maybe you would even change your opinion of him! Hey, what do you think of Kiba?! And Akamaru?! Theyre both do cute! Kiba's hot too... Hey!!! What about Shika-" Leah cried out. I nodded my head. "hmph i doubt i'd change my opinion of that duckass. Kiba's not bad and duh akamaru is cute because he's a dog! I love dogs! And haha yeah, I wish we were." I said, interrupting her explosion of questions and excitement.

We finished watching naruto . Entire series PLUS Shippuden.

After much debate, we decided to head to the park for a walk.
